Ch. 8- Rescue Mission

(Leo's POV)

"Are we all in position?" I say and hear all yeses in my earpiece. Tonight we are saving Lucy's friend, who she said was named Luna. But it can't be her, right?

It took snake a couple of days to find her because the rats change their location a lot, we now know why. We are now at what looks like an abandoned barn and a little over looks like a two story house with none of the lights on. They must be out or are sleeping.

"Alright, me, hawk, and tank will check the barn and the rest will check the house, one I give you the signal." I say and start heading towards the barn door.

We come to the door with a lock holding it closed so I take a Bobby pin out of my pocket and gummy it a couple of times before it unlocks. I slowly open the door and we check the place with guns in hand.

I slowly walk down what looks like a tiny aisle and turn to the corner and see a cage with a tiny woman sleeping on a bed facing away from me. I pick up the set of keys hanging in the opposite wall from her and unlock the cell door.

I walk towards the bed and kneel down and shake her shoulder. Next thing I know she is against the wall with her eyes closed and her body shaking. 

"Hey, hey, I'm not gonna hurt you." I say trying to calm her down, she slowly opens her eyes looking over me but still looks frighten.

The moment I look at her eyes, I go I to shock.

"Dove!!"

"Is she okay?" I ask soon as I walk in the room. After dove passed out on me I rushed her to doc can and we all made a leave. If it is her I will burn all of those bikers to the ground for hurting her.

"She has a lot of bruising in different stages of healing and some fresh bruising on her stomach and face." He says while cleaning his table. "She also has some some broken bones which will take some time healing but she should be fine and I'll come check on her when she wakes up." I nod and thank him and he walks out of the room.

I walk to the bed and grab a chair and sit down next to her. I look over her more closely and see some of the same features she had as kid, like those cute little freckles that I love and that cute button nose that I used to boop. She always had red cheeks when I did that.

I gently push some hair out of her face and lean down to kiss her cheek before I walk out door and go grab her a glass of water for when she wakes up.
