Marius' POV

She got better over the year she lived with me. Slowly, yet steadily. It was difficult for both of us, I loved that kid like he was my damn son, even if we were only friends. Sydney meant a lot to me, she was like my little sister and seeing her like this broke me. I did what I could, but honestly this was definitely a journey she had to do a lot of on her own. But yet here I was, at the airport, saying goodbye. She wanted to move back to Los Angeles, hopefully meet up with some of her old high school friends and settle down. I know what she was trying to do. Settle down and try to forget that awful event while yet still remembering. I know she is hurt. I know she is broken, and will probably forever be broken. But if this makes her happy then she'll move. I of course know she's gonna stay in touch. I was hugging her tightly, she had to go in a few minutes much to my disliking.
"I'm finna miss your goofy ass" I chuckled.
A smile lit up her face. It was a bit rare to see one of those. A smile that actually made her look like she was so happy she could fly. I loved seeing those when I could. It reminded me that she is getting better and is becoming stronger each day.
"I'll miss you too pain in my ass" she said as she slapped my ass playfully. Yelping in surprise, I jump.
"bitch the fu-!??" I yelped before my voice cracked. She started laughing hard and almost fell over causing me to start laughing. We didn't care if the entire airport was staring at us. We were being us. Suddenly a males voice came from the sound system.

"Flight 12 will be departing in five minutes"

I quickly kissed her forehead and gave her one last hug for god knows how long.
"See you later, Syd" I said while grinning.
"You too, Marius" She laughed before walking off and onto her flight.
