I woke up and looked around. My phone was still next to me and on FaceTime with Marius' goofy ass. I guess I fell asleep on the phone with Marius. I check and he was asleep, I smiled seeing his messed up dreads. Marius is fine as hell don't get me wrong but we're only friends and we both know it, there's just no denying facts. I get up and get ready for the day and once I'm done I glance at my screen and notice Marius starting to stir.
"Hey sleepy head" I giggle once he turns to the camera and see his playfully annoyed face.
"Bitch you woke me up" He whines.
"I did not you liar! Now shush and go put a shirt on dumbass" I laugh out.
"Ya, ya. I'm goin'" he grumbles before getting up and getting dressed. We weren't really uncomfortable changing our shirts and pants around each other so it wasn't really new to each of us. I get up and grab the remote as I put on a 'latest hip-hop and R&B playlist' just as 'Close Friends' started playing. Softly singing along as I sat back down and Marius came back to his bed.
"So when do I get my first visit from you?" He speaks.
I had to laugh. "Marius you saw me less then a day ago!" I exclaim as I lit a blunt and took a long drag from it.
"Oh shut the fuck up" he laughed.
I rolled my eyes playfully. "Do you know anyone you could hook me up with to hang out with today?"
"Well I mean there's Pump and Xan," he said while looking for something.
I shrug, "sure, haven't seen them in a few years anyways. Mind sending their numbers?" I say happy that I'll have someone to hang with today.
"Ya I gotta go anyway so I'll send them you way quick before I head to the studio."
3 hours later
I had been chilling at Gazzy's place with him and Diego for the past hour watching movies and other shit.
"Ayo Diego, Syd, it okay if a couple of my other bros come over?" Gazzy said as he walked out from the kitchen.
"Ya sure, it's your place man." Diego said cup in hand.
"Sure!" I smiled as I looked away from the current movie we had on and taking another hit from my new blunt.
Man if I knew who was coming I would've said no.
FYI I know a lot of these rappers aren't even friends or don't know each other irl but for the sake of the book just pretend they do. P.S if you don't know which rapper is who and I don't tell you in the author notes just ask.
