I wake up, the sun shining through the window and onto the walls. I get up and do my normal hygiene routine before getting dressed and putting my wavy brown hair in space buns. I slipped on my black Converse along with grabbing my phone, wallet and keys before heading out the front door. I ordered a Uber five minutes before so it could take me to the store.
After the store and at the mall
As I walked out of Victoria's Secret with a few bags and started to the front door. I had the food and got a couple of undergarment necessities that I was in need of. On the way out I saw a little girl, about five or six, pointing to their mom at a toy. I pulled out a twenty and gently laid it in the moms hand.
"Get her the toy and keep the change." I smiled softly.
"I- Miss this would be almost fifteen left over," she exclaimed in shock.
I nodded. "I know, keep the extra." I smiles once more before walking out and to my waiting Uber to take me home.
Once I got home I put everything away and sat on my couch. Everything had gotten here last night so I had mostly everything unpacked. I decided to just put some Spongebob on in the background as I scrolled through Instagram. That's when I got tagged in a post by a music updates account. I clicked on it and I stared at the picture for a few minutes. It was him. Soft eyes, same smile. More tattoos, but they looked amazing on him. I wiped one of the many tears that fell down my face. Shawn looked like him, a mini Jahseh. Looking at Jahseh now just felt like looking at a older Shawn, but no, this man was the cause of me even having Shawn. My boyfriend from high school, the one who took my virginity, who gave me Shawn. I quickly swiped the photo away and called Marius, just in need of the company. He picked up on the second ring much to my relief.
"Hey Syd, you miss me that much already?" He said teasingly
I let out a small laugh before speaking again. "I miss you yes but I honestly just need the company right now,"
"Awww are you lonely?" He cooed out.
"Oh shut up or I'm finna beat your ass next time I see you"
"Yes mam!" He squeaked out. He such a child sometimes I swear.
