Kastelle sighed as her friends made their way through the crowd and into the sea of sweaty teens. They'd just arrived at the party, and Kassie was already wondering if she made the right choice to come tonight. Then again, she really only came to make sure her friends would be able to get home safe.
Losing sight of her friends, she decided to go find the kitchen, her friends would eventually make their way over.
Following the loud shouting, she pushed her way into the illuminated dining area that was adjacent to the kitchen. She continued through, and decided on grabbing an old fashioned root beer. Popping the cap, she looked around just as a loud roar could be heard from dining hall where the huge dining table was turned into a beer pong tournament.
Standing and leaning against the archway that separated the two rooms, Kassie sipped her root beer and observed the game. She couldn't help but notice the guy in front of her had a really nice build.
She hadn't realized she's blatantly been checking him out until a voice spooked her out of haze.
"Hmm, someone likes what she sees," the voice teased.
Jumping, Kassie turned around startled, hoping the cute guy didn't hear Tyler say that.
"Ty, be quiet!" She hushed, playfully hitting him.
"Hey I'm just calling what I see. Where's Andrea?"
"She went dancing. Do you know who that guy is?" she asked.
He raised an eyebrow at her and gave her a weird look. Just as he was about to say something, the crowd boomed and they both turned their attention to the chaos.
Kastelle's eyes latched onto her mystery man just as he turned around to high-five the guy behind him. Just then, his eyes scanned the area and he caught hers.
Both pairs of eyes widened in surprise, but the guy recomposed quickly and gave her a breathtaking smile.
Oh no. Oh shit.
Just when she thought she couldn't have been more mortified, he started making his way towards her, and she was panicking.
"Why, hello again."
