The room was silent, and tense.

"Is everyone here?" Shoto asked.

"Yes, we're all here." Pearl replied.

"Alright. You may already know, but we're here to discuss the matter of Tanya Vettel, and what to do about her. Not only has she been an abusive parent in the past, but she has committed a serious offense by physically and vocally assaulting heroes while on the job." He explained, going onto his laptop and bringing a picture of Tanya up on the screen behind him.

"She looks nice enough," Yula muttered, staring at the photo.

"Looks can be deceiving..." Izuku muttered, avoiding looking at the screen. I put my arm around him, and he leaned on me. It was easy to tell he was tired, especially from the way his posture was slouched and from the small bags under his eyes.

"What's the story?" Koki asked.

"Tanya was Izuku's adopted mother for the majority of his childhood. She and her now deceased husband were extremely abusive towards him, and it wasn't until high school when his real father showed up that he finally got away from them," Pearl explained.

"In a recent rescue mission, we saved her from the League of Villains, we weren't able to save her husband though. In her despair, she said some very rude things, and slapped Izuku before recognizing him." Kara finished, "Until we have solid evidence of her past abuse to Izuku, we can't do anything more then let her off with a warning.

"Does she have a place to stay?" Ochaco asked.

"I don't know, but we can ask. Why?" Shoto questioned.

"Part of hero protocol is that if a rescue victim has nowhere to stay then they have to stay with a hero they choose. Knowing her, she'll pick Izuku just to torment him," she replied. I grumbled a curse under my breath.

"If that's the case then we can deal with her," Izuku said, sitting up, "I'm not a kid anymore, and with my dad staying at our place for the week... besides, our kids are strong, and half the time they're with your kids. If anything happens, we can take care of it."

"Right," I nodded in agreement, "I'll blast them to the moon of they try anything funny."

"That's not very hero like," Koki said.

"Shut up wolf boy," I retorted.

"Hey, don't start a fight now," Pearl sighed.

Inasa's phone buzzed.

"Oh, I've just been told that Tanya is done with her questioning, and... she's chosen to stay with Izuku." He sighed.

Everyone was silent.

"A-Alright, we can do this... we just, need to find her a place to stay quickly, so she doesn't have to stay long." Izuku muttered, "If we check different sites in sure..." he startled to mumble to himself.

I let him go on for a minute, before nudging him.

"You're mumbling again Nerd," I said, and blinked, before blushing.

"Sorry..."

"It's fine, but we should close this meeting quickly," Tsu stated, "so we can all get back to our families, kero."

"So how do we prove her past abuse?" Pearl asked.

"Scars?" Ashley suggested.

"They could have come from literally anything," Tara replied, "easily dismissable."
