      I was creeped out. All day.

      I mean, how did McKenna and/or Carla get those papers into my pillow?! It was just plain stalkerish. I stunbled off the bus and into my house. Finally, the weekend. No more McKenna for a whole two days. Which, I know isn't alot but, hey, I'll take anything I can get.

      I fumbled with my jacket as I plopped down on the couch. The Big Bash was coming up in a couple of weeks, it was basiclly just a fancy school dance. No different from prom or homecoming. And I don't do dances.

      "Oh, I can't wait! I already saw the perefectdress at the mall today!" Jewel gushed about The Big Bash. I rolled my eyes and stopped. Something didn't feel right, like...I was being watched. Slowly I turned around in my seat to look out the kitchen window. I almost screamed when I saw Erin Hancock staring back at me.

      "What the helk do you think you're doing?" I spat at him once I was outside.

      "McKenna told me to watch you."

      "And you listened to her? Don't you have anything better to do that to stalk some nerd?" I hissed. He shrugged. "Perv." I muttered and punched him in the gut. He whailed a little and fell to his knees.

      "McKenna told me if I watched you," I shudered as he said the word 'watch', "Then she'd go out with me." He protested.

      "Of course. Who dosen't want to go out with McKenna?"

      "Peter sure doesn't seem to."

      "You shut up about Peter!" I snapped and walked back inside. I felt awful about hurting Erin. He was just so...wimpy. It was pathetic. I stared out my window as rain pelted it, blurring the vision.

      I don't think I will run for school president anymore. McKenna can have it, and she's all ready good at bossing people around.

      "Where are we going?" I ask. I was in an SUV with my cousin Samantha, who insisted on taking me to the mall.

      "I told you, the mall."

      "And I told you that I didn't want to go!" I snap as I hug my knees to my chest. I looked down at my black ballet flats, I loved how shiny they were... "Why do we have to go?"

      "Because, I know about your crush on Peter Richards and he won't ever date a..." She looked at me thoroughly and added," a nerd. He wouldn't ever date a nerd." Her words shocked me. How did she know about Peter?

      "I like my style. I am not about to change it for some...boy."

      "McKenna will get him if you don't."

      "How do you know about McKenna? Plus, Peter might like me just the way I am." I grumble sourly.

      "Okay, I'll make you a deal. Let me give you a make over for two weeks. If Peter likes you better for it, I am right. If he still likes you the same or liked you all along, then I'll admit, you were right." Samantha says as she pulls into the parking lot. She turns to me and smirks.

      "Fine." I huff, little does she know, that I not be keeping my end of the deal.

~~~
      Samantha pulls into a gas station to refuel the tank. I knew this was my chance. I slid into the driver seat as Samantha was messing with the pump. She left the keys in the car.
    With a deep breath I turned on the ignition and hit the accelerator. I just realized one small problem...I am only fifteen. Plus, I don't even have a Learners Permit. However, I didn't let that stop me, not even the thought of my cousin not having a ride home could do that. I just kept driving home.
      The entire drive home I couldn't shake the creeped out feeling I had. How did McKenna put those papers in my pillow? How?
      As I pull up into my driveway I realize I'll be in big trouble for jacking Samantha's car. I cross that bridge when I get there though. Lightining cracks and thunder rolls as I hop out of the car and walk inside, deep in thought.
      "You have a messege on your phone!" Jewel said. She was right. I had recieved a text from a blocked number. And this is what is said:
remember that time in drama class? it was da 8th grade and u were talking with dorathy when she asked you if you were drawing a light house and you yelled 'your mom's drawing a light house' and she told u her mom was dead, and her mom really WAS dead. lol! well, kinda, it wasn't funny how her mom wasn't alive but ironic, rite?
     "Haha!" I laughed as I though about that day. It brought back memories. I checked my phone and read some knew awkard moments.
      "The awkward moment," I read out loud. "When your granny is more ganster that you." I tripped up the stairs reading it. Then I heard a beeping sound. It was coming from Jewel's room. I ghtered myself and went to see what it was.
A/N: I want to thank everyone who is reading my story, first of all. Second, I want to say that I can not stand text talk! And every word pained me in wrting the text from Peter. Third, I just want to say sorry for the short chapter, the next one will be longer!
