Logan's POV

I was not sure what I expected to see as I walked through the galaxy door but I was none the less surprised by the sight of the room that I had stepped into. The room was quite like my own with an extremely basic amount of furniture. There was a neatly made bed in the corner, almost like it had never been slept in, a basic, common wall colour, and a simple desk with a chair. The desk itself, was immaculate.

"Wow, I am defiantly getting déjà vu. Are you sure this isn't your room, Logan?" Vergil said, eyeing the room.

"Shush! Be quiet! I don't believe we are alone." I said sternly, to the emo side.

He rolled his eyes at me. Then a look of slight shock filled his eyes. Vergil point behind me towards the desk. I turned and saw the occupant of the room.

They saw us too. He lifted his head up and turned around to us, in an almost robotic kind of way. His face was a pale grey, his eyes stared at us not blinking, and his lips were twisted up into a spooky smile.

"What do you require of me?", he said in a voice that matched his posture, cold and robotic.

I did not know how to answer. I turned to Vergil, silently asking for help but he just shrugged at me. No help from Anxiety then.

I turned back to him and he asked once again, "What do you require of me?"

"What is your name?" I asked them.

"I am Efficiency Sanders. Now tell me, what do you require of me? I do not like it when people waste my time. It stops me from doing what I was programmed to do."

At that something in me just clicked.

"You were not programmed to do anything. No one can tell you what to do or how you should feel. You have your own thoughts and feelings no matter what anyone else says. You are nothing less than human." I said as I stepped closer and closer to the poor child. They were very similar to me, my own flesh and blood if you will, in so many ways. I knew what I needed to tell them.

I crouched down until I was face to face with them and put my hands on his shoulders. They shifted uncomfortably but looked me in the eyes. His eyes were blank and staring but there was something there. Something there that made me feel like he was listening.

I spoke the words to him that saved me only months ago and that I knew would save him.

"You are not a robot. You are capable of feelings and independent thoughts. You are valued and loved by me."

As if it were magic, his eyes shifted from emotionless grey to a warm, intelligent brown. He looked like he was finally seeing for the first time.

"Where am I?", he asked, his words flowing and human-like, "Who are you?"

"I will inform you about everything soon enough, but first I would like to know: Who are you?"

"I am Nickola "Efficiency" Sanders. One of the new generation."

I looked back at Vergil. He looked as stunned as I felt, but he was trying hard to disguise it. "I am Logan "Logic" Sanders and this is Vergil "Anxiety" Sanders. Nickola, I am your father."

"Well then Father," He replied, "I believe there are others I should meet."

"Yes, indeed there is."

"Take me to them."
