.I could not be happier right now. Me and John and I have been dating for months, I have great grades, and I just finished 9th grade.

John's taking me out to his favorite restaurant, but he won't tell me what it is.

It was about 9:00 when I heard knocking at the front door. I finished getting ready and ran downstairs. Even though we've been dating for almost a year, I still get really excited when he takes me out. I opened the door, but John wasn't there. It was a policeman. I figured John had beat someone up for taking crap about me. But then the officer took off his hat.

"Are you John Ashgreens's girlfriend?"

The officer asked me.

My heart started pounding in my chest.

"Yes." I said nervously.

He looked away, and then at his feet.

"John was in a car accident today. A drunk guy and his friends were goofing around, ran a red light, and totaled John's car.We couldn’t find Johns body"

My heart skipped a beat, and I couldn't breath. He handed me John's necklace. It was a locket with a picture of me and him. I passed out.

It was a dark night, and John and I were on a tall hill. He had a backpack on and a picnic basket in his hands. He opened it, and I saw that he had made several sandwiches and had a couple sodas, along with paper plates. The sunset was a deep, beautiful orange, and it shone over the trees, making it really peaceful. It was quiet, and John unzipped his backpack, and pulled out a camera and a stand. He set it up, hit a button and ran back to me. He sat next to me and threw his arm around me. There was a click and a flash, and the picture was taken.

I woke up in my bed, with the locket around my neck. I don't know who did it.  My parents weren't here, they were at work,  But I was too sad and tired to care. I looked at the fish tank beside my bed and saw my fish swimming around and through their plants together, as happy as could be. I cried myself to sleep.
