The werewolf is a mythological animal and the subject of many stories throughout the world-and more than a few nightmares. Werewolves are, according to some legends, people who morph into vicious, powerful wolves.

Werewolves made another early appearance in with the Legend of Lycaon. According to the legend, Lycaon, the son of Pelasgus, angered the god Zeus when he served him a meal made from the remains of a sacrificed boy. As punishment, the enraged Zeus turned Lycaon and his sons into wolves

Some believe that werewolves are servants of the Moon.

When Zeus turned Lycaon and his sons into wolves, the moon goddess, Artemis took mercy on them and granted them the capacity to turn into their human forms once full moon subsides, hence alleging them her servants.

Over time, the wolves aided the Goddess, grateful for her grace. Artemis, deeply snowed with this devotion, blessed the wolves with inexplicable celestial abilities that would forever persevere down their direct lineages.

In the small village of Yangdong, for centuries werewolves had preserved their identity and learned to coexist with humans without risking exposure of their species.

Today, werewolves are known to be fabricated creatures found in myths instead of lurking in the dark woods, but that was not always the case. Not so long ago, belief in werewolves was common. Overall, there was little difference between the killings and activities of wolves and werewolves: both would hunt at night, attacking sheep or livestock, and sometimes humans. The main difference was, of course, that the werewolf changed into human form at some point.

In fact, many elders among the village still believe in the existence of the 'shapeshifters'.

For a werewolf to find a mate is very difficult. There are many obstacles standing in their paths - not the least of which is that they are surrounded by humans that they have a hard time relating to and that have a hard time relating to them! Many werewolves go a long time without finding a mate.

When a werewolf comes across their mate they can sense it. They feel an inexplicable urge to be near the individual. There is something compelling about the individual. They want to know everything about him or her. They want to spend time with the person. Inside, the werewolf will feel a sense of knowing they've found the right person, and they'll no longer feel quite so alone.

Werewolves have a tendency to avoid people and crowds, and they have a difficult time with trust....all things which could hamper the process of finding their mate.

Regardless however, it does hold true that mates are often drawn to each other, and so will inevitably find each other.
