"How did it happen, again?"
"It got knocked down when I was trying to shift the vanity aside." You repeated the same excuse for the nth time, hoping that gran doesn't ask why exactly you decided to move the vanity.
"You didn't open the window, did you?" She asked persistently, raising an eyebrow in suspicion.
"O-of course n-"
"Oh stop breathing down her neck for once mother! No one believes in your tell-tales about the Lycan-whatever so please." Your aunt rolled her eyes as she grabbed an apple from the fruit basket and took a bite.
Your gran gasped and before you know it, she hurled herself halfway across the room towards your aunt and started hitting her with her cane. Your eyes widened comically and you stifled a giggle when your aunt shrieked.
"That." *Hit* "Is." *Hit* "Classified." *Hit* "Tribe information!" *Hit*
"Sorry, I'm sorry, AH-"
Your gran whipped her cane one last time before she huffed and turned towards you and smiled cheekily, "Ignore this stupid brat." She limped and places her hand on your shoulder, dragging you with her.
You tilted your head to a side to check on your aunt, only to find her rolling her eyes whilst rubbing her calves.
Oh, God.
Gran was bipolar.
"Oh, _____," she started when she caught your eye, "I was about to go to school to get you signed up, wanna come along?" She asked.
You were never the outdoorsy type so you easily grimaced and shook your head.
"It would be a great chance to make new friends." She frowned at your ignorance.
"Yes, you should quickly find some side bitches or else you'll become an outcast like your aunt!" Gran added, smirking.
"Mom, LANGUAGE!" Your aunt screeched. This was quite literally the first time she called her 'Mom' in front of you.
"Your mother was not any better, now that I think of it. In my time--"
"Yes mom, we know how much of a badass you were!" Aunt sighed, turning to you once again, "Are you coming?"
"I'll pass." You shrugged.
