Uhh just a warning there is a brief part in this part that is pretty dark: mentions of child murder. It's not graphic at all.

However, If this is triggering to you please do not read the part in bold.

When Peter arrived at the base he use to call home there was nothing there but fallen rubble and dust everywhere. He stared at the disaster zone before him for what seemed like forever.

He knew who done this. He should have expected this. He had told them where the base was, it may of not been his fault considering they used a detector (and a Natasha Romanoff who is a human truth or lie detector just by staring at u) but this was not what he really expected.

The whole base, gone. Broken rubble and a nest for dust is all it is now. (Just like that one scene in infinity war)

But what was on Peter's mind the most was the question 'what happened to everyone?'. There were no bodies evident, none in sight. The absence of lifeless forms sent chills down Peter's spine. Surely someone who of died, it was an inevitable outcome. But here we are, no dead bodies. He doesn't even know if his team survived it.

Maybe SHIELD took all the bodies for...some reason. Peter can't think straight enough to think about the possibilities.

He slowly, but surely, walked back to the car where Loki was waiting for him. They had assumed HYDRA wouldn't want to see the God who tried to take over New York, so he stayed put in the car.

Peter slumped into the chair with a look of sorrow and grief in his expression, he gulped, "they...they uhh, can't help."

"Is that because they don't want to, or is the base destroyed?"

"Destroyed," He sighed, "gone. All gone, what the hell was I thinking? I tried to control everything when I lied so the machine didn't pick it up, obviously didn't work out. I shouldn't of talked at all, I- god damnit."

Loki remained silent mainly because he didn't know how to respond. He's never been the best at comforting.

"It's fine. I'll be fine, my healing should do it's thing by tomorrow. Don't need help."

"Yeah, it looks like your healing is doing plenty," Loki sarcastically smiled. He dropped the smile when he didn't get any positive replies, "is there anyone else you could possibly think of in this world that could help you?"

Peter shook his head, "Anyone that could have, is possibly dead...and you said you don't know how to deal with this."

"What about this team of yours. You've mentioned them before."

"About that...they were in the base. A room they weren't allowed to escape, technically a cell but it's wasn't...okay so that made no sense but you get what I mean."

"Not really but I know the main part of the story. Are you sure they may not of gotten out in time?"

Peter sighed, considered it for a while, then frowned, "no. No there's-but maybe. I'm not really sure, plus, if they did, they'd either be in hiding and running away or in-prisoned somewhere else."

"We could blow every prison to oblivion until we find them...?" Loki suggested, more of a question.

"We could. But we need to stay on the low. Hey you said that you have...manipulation powers? Or something like that, right? Well can you manipulate people around us into thinking we are different people?"

Loki thought about it for a moment, "hmm I don't think I could make that possible. But I can shapeshift into another."

Peter brightened. Something was going right for him, "that's great. Can you go get some food please? Food first then health."
