i woke up during the night to find my phone lighting up the room. i tried to roll over without waking up jo, i looked over at my screen to see 7 messages from my cousin,

Cousin- Lara

Cousin- Lara! its important!

Cousin- Lara....please?

Cousin- LARA ANSWER ME

Cousin- LARA HES GONE

Cousin- YOU NEED TO COME QUICK

i looked back at jo and then to my screen, my heart was beating out of my chest.

Lara- whats wrong?

Cousin- Bens in hospital...they dont think hes gonna make it

Lara- WHAT

Cousin- QUICK HURRY UP

I started crying and jumped up to get my charger

"Lara whats wrong?" Jo asked while scratching the back of his neck "My brother is d-dying-" i broke down in the corner. Jonah spritned to my side to comfort me. "do you want me to drive you?" he asked, i simply nodded, he picked me up bridal style and ran out to the car, he threw me in and jumped in the drivers seat. the drive to the hospital was full of me sobbing uncontrolably and jonah trying to calm me down. we got there and i ran into the lobby, "I NEED INFORMATION ON BEN THOMAS" I screamed. The ladys face dropped. "Im sorry honey...he was pronounced dead 5 minutes ago..." she said while playing with her fingers. I let out a massive howl as i dropped to the ground crying, god even jonah was crying. . All of the sudden Daniel runs in and almost trips as he sprints over to me, What happened? he asked while rubbing my back. "My b-brother i-is d-dead-" i continued to cry. Jonah got up wiping his tears from his eyes and waled over to the front desk. "Sir im sorry from your loss" the lady said, "thanks umm...do you know the c-cause of death.." jonah asked, the lady looked down at her computer, "he got hit by a car while riding his bike, shattering 3 of his ribbs, concusion, bleed on the brain, breaking both legs and causing major internal bledding, it was a hit and run, once again im so sorry" jonah looked over at me and sighed "ok thankyou..." "jonah...what d-did they say...?" "he got hit by a car...it was a hit and run, im so sorry" "its ok...we should go home.." Jonah nodded and we all walked out the door to the car.
