Chapter 4

The car ride home was silent until Daniel spoke up "Does anyone want food?" "no thanks" me and Jonah both said. when we got home I got into bed with Jonah, "princess I'm so sorry..." "Jonah...its not your fault, get some sleep" "ok..night beautiful" "night Jonah" I cuddled up to him and fell asleep. I woke up at about 2am and wriggled out of Jonah's grip, I walked to the bathroom and locked the door. I sat down and cried. I had been crying for about 10 minutes until I slipped a blade from my pocket and slid it harshly across my left wrist over and over again. by this point blood was dripping from my arm. my vision started to go blurry until...THUD!

JONAHS POV

I woke up in the middle of the night to crying, I looked around and couldn't find Lara until I heard a loud thump come from my bathroom. I ran to the door "LARA OPEN UP!" "LARA OPEN THE DOOR!" red hot tears were pouring down my face, The boys all the sudden came running up into the room. I used all my force and broke down the door to see a pale, lifeless Lara laying in a pool of blood "OH MY GOD! CALL 911!!" I ran next to her and scooped her up in my arms, Zach was shaking in Corbyn's arms. everyone was crying. "Lara...Please wake up what happen- no..." I saw the fresh cuts on her wrists and screamed "WHAT HAPPENED!?!" Jack said while looking up from is hands, I couldn't speak so I just pointed. "THIS IS ALL MY FAULT!" I screamed in-between sobs. then there were sirens . the paramedics raced in and took her in the ambulance. "IM COING WITH HER!" I yelled "Sir who are you to the patient?" one asked "IM HER HUSBAND!" I screamed while jumping in the back, I heard Corbyn choke as I said husband. When we got to the hospital I was waiting in the waiting room crying with my head in my hands until the boys arrived.

ZACHS POV

As soon as we walked through the doors we saw Jonah sobbing uncountably with his head in his hands. I stood back behind jack and cried, I couldn't handle seeing my bestfriends so broken.

CORBYNS POV

I ran up to Jonah and wrapped my arms around him "shh jo, its going to be ok. Lara's strong."

He just nodded and eventually fell asleep

TIME SKIP 6 HOURS

LARAS POV

I woke up in an unfamiliar place, as I fully opened my eyes they were blinded by the bright light above me. I turned and saw a sleeping Jonah next to my bed holding my hand close to his chest. He looked a mess, he had blood all on his shirt, red puffy eyes and tear stains on his face. I tried to get up but winced in pain, Jonah shot up from his seat and stared at me then started to cry. "OMG YOUR'E AWAKE!" He yelled while wrapping his arms around me and crying hard into my shoulder. the rest of the boys came barging through the door crying. "LARA!" Screamed Zach as he practically leaped on top of me. time passed as me and the boys talked. they told me what happened. a couple of hours later a doctor walked in "Ok Lara now that you are up we need to talk about what happened" I nodded "Oh and you must be her husband!" the doctor said while shaking Jonah's hand. I choked on my water and Jonah gave me a 'go along with it ill explain later' look "ok well Mr Marias I would strongly advise you to hide all blades and objects that could induce self harm" the doctor said "I sure will don't worry" Jonah replied "well Mrs Marais you are free to leave" the doctor gave me a weak smile and walked out the door, everyone burst into laughter "Husband...." Corbyn said while wheezing, "about that.." Jonah said while rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly "Jonah I understand its fine" I laughed "phew!" he said while wiping invisible sweat from his forehead. we sat for a while and spoke until we headed home.
