I Fell

I don't know when it happened, it just did
I stopped sleeping
I was hardly eating
My headphones were always on, but I wasn't singing
When I was home alone, drank a glass of whiskey, told my mom I was tired

I stopped talking
I knew my grandmother saw right through me,
So I stopped going over.
Everything changed, suddenly but slowly
I'm not gonna say it's your fault, it's not
I was the one who convinced myself
The other way around

What hurts the most was that I promised
Myself I wouldn't fall
But I did
