CHAPTER 8 - No skipping!

The next day I walked into school with our project, I put it in my locker and headed to homeroom.
I sat down next to Gene in homeroom.
"Hey!" I said.
"WHO DO YOU-" He yelled, "Oh y/n it's you, sorry, in a bad mood."
"No shouting in class please!" The teacher shouted.
"No-one tells me what to do!" Gene shouted back.
"You know what?" The teacher yelled, slamming his paper on the desk, "I'm done! Do whatever you want!" The teacher stormed out of the room and the whole class simultaneously exploded into laughter.

"Hey Y/n!" I heard as I was walking to English class, I turned to see Gene, "wanna skip with us?'
"Oh no. You aren't skipping." I said, walking to him, I took hold of his wrist and dragged him away.
"Wtf?" Said Sasha.
"DON'T WORRY! HE'LL BE BACK LATER!" I yelled over my shoulder at the two shadow knights, who looked stunned.
"So where are we going?'" Gene asked,
"My locker." I replied, "Then English, where we have a presentation to do in about,." I checked my watch, "THREE MINUTES, RUN!"
I made a mad dash for my locker, Gene on my heels, I grabbed the stuff for our project then sprinted of to class, getting through the door just as the bell went, closely followed by Gene.
"Oh wow " the teacher mused, "You actually showed up." I knew this was directed at Gene, who shrugged,
"I was forced."
"Whatever, sit down, you two will be first." The teacher said. I nodded and went to my desk and sat down, Gene next to me.
"You ready?" I asked him.
"Not at all." He said,
"Well too bad." I said as the teacher called us up, I grabbed his arm and dragged him again, knowing he wouldn't willingly get up, and walked up to the front, where we began our presentation.
(Time skip!)
"That was Hellllll..." Gene said as we left the English classroom.
"It wasn't that bad."
"So... Wanna skip now?" Gene asked, I looked around and saw Laurence and Garroth, the we're turned away from us.
"I guess one time wouldn't hurt..." I said.
"Aww come on! I'll buy you F/c!" Gene said, sounding really desperate
"You know you sound so desperate right now," I said, laughing, "There's always a first time for everything, now let's go!"
