"And so have you ever worked in a salon or had any experience doing hair and anything like that?" The woman asked Dream.
"No never worked in a salon but I would say I have years of experience. I grew up playing in my older sister hair and doing the girls who stayed in my hood hair." Dream explained. It had been 3 weeks since the night at the Compound and she and Terrell had been with each other everyday, her and Ari had been to every club in Atlanta, and now since she'd lost her job for good at Magic City,Terrell had gotten her an interview at The Glam Shop salon on the west side and she was now being interviewed by the owner, Sierra.
Dream was dressed in a long sleeve, white low cut long sleeve top that was tucked into a short Gucci skirt with her hair loosely curled. The new diamond buss down Rolex on her wrist and the small diamond cross chain on her neck Terrell had purchased for her made her look as if she had enough money to never need a job again. Which definitely was not true, and even though her and Terrell had been having the time of their lives and he had bought her and August anything they'd ask for, she wanted to make her own money.
"What hood you from?" Sierra asked, trying to recall if she knew Dream from anywhere.
The question took Dream by surprise. She was expecting this interview to be 100% professional.
"Edgewood. I moved to Summer Hill for my Grandma before she passed in 2016. I'm back in Edgewood now though." She explained. "What side you from?"
"I'm from the Bluff girl." Sierra answered.
"Oh you a west side baby." Dream joked, laughing at herself.
Sierra laughed along with her. "Yes, you know I had to give my hood something to be proud of."
"Hell yeah, I feel that."
"Alright so I got a client waiting for a wash and a silk press. I'ma let you take care of her and see how you do. How that sound?" Sierra suggested.
Dream's face lit up. "Oh I'm cool with it fasho."

"Wassup ma?" Red sighed out as she plopped down on the couch next to Tabatha.
"Girl! Don't be flopping yo' big ass down on my couch like that." She shouted. Red's jaw dropped, trying to keep from laughing.
"Um please don't do that cause I'm definitely not big." She shot back.
Tabatha looked at her. "I said yo' big ASS. Meaning the ass that you sitting on and 'bout to break my couch with. You and ya sister both."
Red howled with laughter. "And I wonder where we get it from."
"Speaking of yo' sister, she called me this morning." Tabatha told Kingsley, stopping her laughter.
"Man I ain't talked to her in like two weeks. What she on?"
"Me either. I'm surprised she called me. She had a interview this morning at the Glam Shop." Tabatha informed.
Kingsley's eyes widened. "THE GLAM SHOP? Is you serious?"
Tabatha scrunched her eyebrows. "Yeah. What's yo' problem?"
Red scoffed. "Do you know how long I was trying to get her to leave Magic and come work with me at the Shear Miracles shop until I get my own shit?" She was irritated now. While she was going the through the process of opening up her own salon- which she would give her sister a co-owning position- she had extended the olive branch to her sister more times than she could remember to give her a more dignifying way to get a bag, and not just from tips.
Tab shook her head. "Watch yo' mouth girl, but you know how yo' sister is. She hard headed as hell." She comforted, reminding Red that it wasn't anything that she'd done wrong.
