5/30/2015 (Song, definitely inspired by Lana Del Rey)
Longing for a lifetime of luxury,
She said, "Please don't bother me,"
But she missed her opportunity,
Mister Opportunity,
She missed her opportunity,
There are plenty of doors open to the hallway she walks,
But she's passing them up, the way she talks,
They stand open, but she won't notice the possibility,
Not with the way she talks,
She'll just miss her opportunity,
Chorus:
Millions of dollars, sparkles in her eyes,
Millions of wants, things she'll never find,
Doors and windows closed to her and her self-closed mind,
All she wants, she wants it all, but can she see where it lies?
Doors and windows closed to her and her self closed mind,
Thousands of objects she wants, but what can she find?
There's a dozen rooms open to explore, but her spirit's set on one,
Chances dashed by one of a kind, she thinks she'll see the sun,
So many rooms, left behind, abandoned by ambition,
Not a problem unless one lets it cloud their vision,
But she only has one goal in mind, a single destination,
Golden stars at the top of the world, yet she has found no patience,
[Chorus]
Not at all, and never will, if she can't slow herself down,
The city she's in, it doesn't mind watching young girls drown,
She always knew she had a taste for shiny things and blood,
But if she's not careful, she'll drown in the semen and the mud,
It's a dangerous road she runs, almost on her own,
Accompanying her, a host of fiends, waiting for her to go down,
Friends, she sees, a family, unlike any other,
But greed is in the father's eyes, and she'd never have fucked her brother,
Chorus II:
Millions of dollars, a sparkle in her eye,
Millions of things she wants, things she'll never find,
Doors and windows closed to her and her self-closed mind,
All she wants, she musn't fall, for if she does she dies,
This is a road she's chosen, the only one for her,
All it asks is that she lasts as well as sweetly purr,
For men from here and there see she's the only one for them,
Four men can take her all at once, Four, Six, Eight or Ten,
It doesn't matter to her, is what she tells herself,
"Please don't bother me,"
But what she wants seems to be on another track,
Mr. Opportunity,
The other road was softer, kinder on the heart,
But she skipped it for the other road which promised her a part,
The future wasn't visible, but it sure seemed clean,
She never could have ever guessed that it could get so mean,
Before she ever knew, she said goodbye to her dead dream,
And found herself among other widows quite bereaved,
Lying like similar widows, accepting money before she leaves,
[Chorus II]
It was never the goal nor the destination,
But she never had the patience,
Road one looked rather boring, so she instead took road two,
Later, she could wonder, but never go back through,
Millions of dollars, the sparkle in her dies,
Millions of wants, things she'll never find,
Doors and windows remain closed to her and her self-closed mind,
All she wanted is gone besides a sad future she now spies,
Outro:
Mr. Opportunity,
Did she miss her opportunity?
Mr. Opportunity,
What happened to the hope?
Mr. Opportunity,
What's the point of purity?
Mr. Opportunity,
Could it just be a joke?
"Mr. Opportunity,
Is there another chance for me?
Mr. Opportunity,
I've always felt alone,
Mr. Opportunity,
Can you play a tune for me?
Mr. Opportunity,
Will I ever find my way back home?"
