"I can't believe that they did that!" Wally exclaimed as he ranted about the unfairness of the Justice League.

"They can't just give us a mission and take it back when we barely even started! We didn't even blow anything up or gave ourselves away this time!"

Wally's ranting went mostly unnoticed by the rest of the team as they crowed around Robin who was seated in front of the mountains computer.

"Got it!" Robin exclaimed as he pulled up the video feed from the watch tower. The video showed up on screen for the whole team to watch. It showed a perfectly round sphere with the outline of a robot lion inside it.

Around the sphere, there were the seven founders of the Justice League. They seemed to be discussing how to disable the force field.

"We could always just smash through it." Superman suggested. With his strength, he can smash through almost everything and come out without a single scratch on his body. He isn't called Superman for nothing after all.  The only exception is if he comes into contact with kryptonite.

"No," came the immediate reply from Batman. "This is alien tech. We don't know where it's from and what  capabilities it has."

"How else are we supposed to deactivate the field?" Asked Wonder Women. "There is no place to connect to the field for us to hack it, nor does there seem to be any weak spots or a way for anything to slip through."

As the League continued to discuss this matter, they didn't notice that Flash had gone up to inspect the field.

"You know we could always try knocking." He said as he knocked on the field twice.

"Barry, you know that that's never going to-" Green Arrow began to say but was cut off as the force field retreated. "Work." Green Arrow continued in wide eyed disbelief.

"It worked?" Flash stated in confusion. "I mean it worked!"

The two teams watched in awe and caution as the lion moved so that it was sitting in an upright position as it moved from being suspended in the center of the field to sitting on the ground.

The lion was huge. It's head along was almost three times the size of the bio-ship. The robot lion had a thin streamline body shape and was covered in what could only be explained as green body armor. It's eyes flashed yellow as it looked down on the hero's in front of it.

"Its alive!" Martian Manhunter said as he sensed the spiritual and mental energy coming from the lion.

Before Martian Manhunter could explain what he ment, the lion lowered its head in front of him, opening its mouth. Without waiting for the order from Batman, Manhunter had already flown inside of the lion.

The League stayed and waited for him. Just as they were about to go after him, Manhunter emerged from the lion, carrying a young teen in his arms.

"Get to the med bay before he bleeds out," Batman ordered as he noticed the blood. The League  quickly followed Manhunter to the med bay while Batman rushed ahead to prepare a bed.

As the League exited the hanger, the lion closed its mouth and moved to sit in its previous position.

Greens eyes flashed yellow as she hoped that her Paladain would recover soon.
