Emilie's POV
The next day, I woke up before my alarm clock by ten minutes. I took a nice, warm shower. For my outfit I choose something simple; a simple dark grey V-tee and light blue jeans.
For my hair, I combed it and put it in a loose pony tail at the nape of my neck, leaving some strands hanging out loosely.
I decided on wearing my black cuffs today. I take my bag that has been sitting in my chair that is right in front of my desk, and jog downstairs. I enter the kitchen, hopping my mother will be there, but to my disappointment, she isn't.
I let out a small sigh, before heading to the door instead. I put my black vans on. I was just about to close the door when I realized that I forgot my phone, so I run up the stairs and grab it quickly.
I still have more than thirty minutes until school starts, but I go to school anyway. I park my car and unpluck my seat belt but don't make any attempt to move. I take out my phone instead and open my schedule for today. I decided to take a picture on my phone of my schedule rather than holding the paper itself. I have AP Chemistry first.
I rest my head on the steering wheel. Ten minutes later, I am out of the car, and entering the school hallways. This time no one is staring at me thank god. I lost my way at first trying it find my chemistry class, but I found it at last. I open the door, but no one is there, since there is still almost twenty minutes.
I sit at the seat far back and stare out of the window beside me.
I can see the school's football field. I smile as I remember how I used to love playing football in my freshman year, and honestly, I wasn't that bad. But as I got older my father told me- and I quote- "football is for boys" I mean that's so sexist. I shake my head to interrupt my thoughts, because I know I'll be heading deep down memory lane.
I average my attention to my bag and take out my phone and headphones and decided to listen to one of my favorite singers of all time; James Arthur.
The students started to get in class, so I stop listening to music and place my phone back in the bag.
Students chatting and gossiping are filling the class. Someone opens the door making my eyes snap there, but not only me, some of the students too. It's the Hazel boy. He scans the class for a seat. There are four empty seats, one in the far front, two in the middle, and the chair next to me, which is in the far back. His eyes lands on the chair next to me and he started moving. I noticed some girls are staring at him with 'awe' looks. I don't blame them; I mean he is good looking. He's wearing black. Black shirt, black jeans, black sneakers. I mean I don't mind; I love the color black; hell, more than half of my clothes are black.
He places his bag next to him making a small thudsound and take the seat next to me. He looks at me and nods as in acknowledging my existing. I don't attempt to smile, or anything just look back at the window. Not even a second later a middle-aged man comes in.
" everyone please sits on their seats" he says as he places his bag. The people who were standing, sits back at their seats with a groan. " please everyone if you want to switch seats, switch now since the seat you will choose will be the seat for the rest of the semester." He continues. Some people stood and started changing their seats, I stayed in mine since I want to sit in the far back and I don't mind my partner.
The teacher started taking our attendance, name after name,
"Aiden King" Mr. Klaus continued "here" I turn to my right. The Hazel boy. his name is Aiden King. Nice name. I turn my attention back to Mr. Klaus as he continued. " Emilie Andrews"
