Aiden's POV (finally!!)
The engine of my car dies, as I close the door. I swing my back pack strap over my shoulder. I walk to the front of my house; I dig my hands in my pockets searching for my keys. I found them and open the door. I enter the living room, to find my seven-year-old sister laying on the floor, watching some Disney tv show. Jessica, my seven-year-old sister has dark brown hair, with forest green eyes. When she notices me, she jumps and runs to me, "Aidddddeeeen" she yells as she hugs me, well my legs since she's short. I chuckle as I bent down to hug her properly. "hey, Jess" I say pulling back from the hug. I raise my hand and ruffle her hair slightly, she frowns "Aideen, don't do that" she complains, I chuckle slightly. "is mom home?" I ask her. She nods her head and point to the kitchen.
I enter the kitchen to find mom cooking something. My mom's brown hair is tied up in a messy bun above her head, she's wearing sweats pants and a baby pink t-shirt.
"hey mom" I say as I give her a side hug. She looks at me and smiles, "hey honey, how's school?" as soon as my mom mentions school, for some unknown reason Emilie comes to my mind. I shake my head getting rid of that thought "it's good" I reply. She nods at me "Niki and Amber are coming over today." mom informs me. Niki is Chase's mother, and Amber is Mason's. I nod at her and head to my room.
As I was walking up the stairs, my father comes to view. he looks at me with his cold brown eyes, before looking away without uttering a word. I roll my eyes and enter my room.
I place my bag beside my desk before laying on my bed. I sigh loudly facing the celling, my thoughts immediately went back to Emilie and I's conversation at lunch
*flash back*
I sit down across Emilie who goes back to her black notebook in front of her. I noticed that she has nothing to eat, so ask her "aren't you hungry?". I take a bit out of my sandwich as I ask her. She raises her head to look at me. She has a nice shade of blue eyes, that honestly amazes me, for some reason.
She shakes her head "no". I noticed a lot of stuff about her;
1- She mostly reply's with 'no' or 'yes' or even 'I don't know'
2- She doesn't like to talk generally.
3- She likes spending time alone
Yeah, I am that type of person who observe every single thing.
Emilie looks down at her black notebook, she isn't reading neither using the pen in her right hand to write. Her eyes are just glued to the page. Why didn't she accept my offer to sit with us at lunch? I mean, I don't think she knows this, but if we- as in Chase, Mason and I- asked another girl, they would say yes without any hesitation, not like I care. I actually hate it, girls just want attention, so if sitting with us gets them attention then they will. Suddenly, everything hits me. Emilie didn't want to sit with us at lunch because of attention, I could be wrong. But she doesn't sit in the cafeteria at all, she usually doesn't make eye contact. When I walked her to class today, she keeps on looking at the people as they stare at us, she seemed bother by all the attention.
I eat my sandwich watching Emilie like a creep, but there is something about her that I can't quite get a hold on. Something......... different.
*end of flashback*
I groan. Why can't I just stop thinking about her?
I decided to take a shower, since we probably having dinner tonight.
