Wave 2: Broken Dreams
Staying within the shelter of teenage years,
I decided to test fate
Exploring new places as I grew up
Hoping that our paths may cross
I wonder if you can still recognize me
Even from afar,
I hope that you can look through my eyes
A simple gaze from you will be priceless
Your sweet gentle voice echoes up to the walls of my mind
Call my name once more
From the depths of my soul,
I yearn for your presence
From a grassy path,
To the asphalts of a new land
I stroll upon the streets
The roads was never been familiar to me
I turned left on the fork,
Not knowing that fate's gift will be delivered
Not later nor tomorrow but right now
My eyes nearly melt from the visage that I saw
As I daydreamed,
I accidentally stumbled upon a certain someone
Someone who was very special to me
The one that I am looking for
Back then, I gave a silver bracelet to the boy
I can recall him smiling as I gave it to him
I share the exact copy of that bracelet
From then on, we promised to wear it all the time
The instant that I saw his face,
I quickly straightened myself
A shining silver ornament is hanging on his wrist
My intuition cannot be mistaken
"Do you remember me? It's me, your childhood friend!"
My eyes bore into his
Forcing to delve deeper in his memories
Hoping to ring a bell on him
It's now time to use my last resolve
The evidence of the past
I showed the silver chain on my wrist
The key to the forgotten past
I felt like I was an ice that was going to melt,
Like a fragile glass threatening to shatter
His next words were like arrows Repeatedly stabbing my weary heart
My ears are forcing to become deaf
From the words that slipped through his mouth
Though to my demise, it still remained on my head
"I'm sorry..I do not know you."
