Unexpected Fiance

How did this even happen?? I questioned myself. But my rational mind reminded me about 0.001% of getting a match. But how can it happen.. 0.001%, that stupid guy fall into that 0.001% possibility. How impossible that guy could be then... ?? She purposely answered all the questions which do not match..if he could match her level of weirdness, my skin crawled in embarrassment. He is being matched with Me.. Me... Her train of thought was cut short by Rav.

We are in our private VIP Suite dorm hall now. The couple were staring at their mobile phones and suddenly, Rav break the silence,"Hey..Did you see your fiance's profile??"

We all three girl's attentions immediately gathered on Rav's face.

What?? , Check the guy's profile page. " he hurried.

We started searching for his name in profile page. But all of us ended up having no results.

"Really... " he scratched his head for a second, "Ah...now I got it. It is a private profile, you have to be friends for him to see his profile."

Within a few seconds, he enabled the projector mode in his mobile and projected his mobile screen on the neat porcelain like wall.

His profile was very simple, with his shadow silhouette as his profile image. His friends lists was categorized as Friends & Family, Peers, Company 1 CEO, Company 2 CEO ..etc. Rav was categorized under M&A (Merger & Acquisition).

I looked at Rav with my eyes narrowed,"M&A? You know this guy?"

"Hmm.. I met him once in a M&A party. His company took over one of our sister's companies. I attended it with my Father and he attended it on behalf of his Father." Rav replied. "We exchanged a few words, but my father embarrassingly forced us to send friend requests and made us to accept it. After that we have not chatted or met , so I totally forgot about him. When I search for him now. I found the match in my friend list." he explained meticulously.

There was a moment of silence in the room. Everyone was looking at the profile. The photos were restricted even for Rav. The only thing we can see is friends count and mutual friends with him and Rav. The mutual friends pretty much would be the same for anyone in this school. Suddenly there was a beep sound in her mobile and pop up in Rav's Page.

It was a mail from the School management with the matching results. It also included the partner details in the social network ids, family, educational, achievement background. It also gave the answers to the oral test of his. The mail was sent to my parents and the boards of directors as well. Similar kind of mail would have been sent to him as well. Suddenly I felt an arrow of needles pricking my bent head. I raised my head and looked at three pairs of inquiring eyes.

What?" I asked in common.

What is this?" was their reply.

What is what?" I was confused by their question. I have a valid reason for my head to be muddled but what happened to them.

Their eyes pointed at the projected screen. At first glance I couldn't get it, what they want me to see there?

After few seconds, it dawned on me that there was a friend's request sent to me from him. In the mutual friend list, my name was added in the waiting list. Since I was busy checking my mail, I didn't see his friend's request.

Now, I am stunned to see my name in his profile. Nirmi took the mobile from my hand and projected it on wall.

"I will accept it.?" she asked me in question.

I thought for a moment, and took my mobile back from her and accepted the friend's request. It is not a big deal if not today it has to be done tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.
