You just sat down to dinner with your parents.

They have known about tour girlfriend Ruby for a year now. They are okay with it as long as you get to see them once in a while.

"So, how was your day? Did you see Ruby today?"

Your dad starts asking you so many questions.

"It was okay. And yeah, i did see Ruby for a bit, but she had to go and shoot some photos"

It was silent for a while until your phone buzzes. You look at the notification and you feel your cheeks heat up.

Out of the corner of your eye, you could see your mum looking at your phone.

You ignore the message because your parents are staring at you

She continued to message you until you had to leave the table.

You unlock your phone and start to read the messages

Ruby❤ : Missed call at 7:00pm

Ruby❤ : Baby, please answer x

Ruby❤ : I'm coming over x

You quickly type your response, smiling as you do.

You: Okay, baby. Where are you now? x

Ruby❤ : I'm outside x

Ruby❤ : Can i be let in? x

You laugh at her message and go to open the door.

There she was. Standing at the door in a beautiful blue jacket, sunglasses and her brown, soft hair parted to the side.

"Hey, baby" She says, smiling and pulling you into a kiss.

"Missed you" She adds as you part.

You smile and pull her in for another kiss.
