"Why?" (part one):

YOUR POV;

"You never even acknowledge i am here. I'm not part of your life anymore, Ruby!" You shout, getting in Ruby's face.

You could see the tears in her eyes, but you could also see the anger.

"Really?! Are you serious?!" She shouts, looking directly at you.

"You know what? I'm done. Enjoy your fame, Langenheim!" You shout, throwing your key to the house on the floor, grab your bag and walk out, slamming the door behind you.

*3 weeks later*

You are scrolling through Instagram when you get a message from Ruby's friend, Sophie.

Sophie: Hey

You: Hey

Sophie: You seen Ruby's story?

You: No. Why would i? We broke up.

Sophie: Look at it now!!

You: Fine

You search Ruby's account and click on her story. You skip past the ones about her life and what she is doing.

As you are skipping, you see a video.

Is she crying?

You wait for the video to load and turn your volume all the way up.

The things that were said shocked you.

"Why?" She said, holding back the tears.

You start to cry when she looks away from the camera and tears roll down her soft cheeks.

You and Ruby had a code word for when you were apart and one of you needed the other.

Ruby came up with it because she was away the most. Her being away for a long time always had an impact on one or both of you

"Why?" You whisper, grabbing your keys and running out of the door.
