Mornings like these:

RUBY'S POV;

It was a Saturday morning. Perfect.

This was one of the only days i had off to spend with my girlfriend.

We have been together for nearly a year now and we hadn't spent alot of mornings together because of my work schedule and me flying around the world.

It was mornings like these that i cherish.

I grabbed my phone and checked the time.

Only 8:00 am.

I put my phone next to me and got comfy again. I felt her arm wrap around me and i smiled to myself.

"Morning, baby" I said, my croaky voice making her laugh.

"Morning, Rubes"

I get up and open the bedroom door slowly, making sure the dogs don't run in. But it was too late.

They all came running in like a stampede.

I sat on the balcony, looking at the person and the animals that i cared about the most.

We all laughed like mad. It was perfect.

It was mornings like these that i cherish. And mornings lime these i will never, ever forget.
