chapter 7

Toni POV:

we were in Cheryl's car on our way to pop's the whole ride was quit. I could see Cheryl let a couple of tears fall on her cheek, she quickly wiped it away and just continued to keep an eye on the road. I decided not to comment on it and wait till we reach pop's. When we pulled at pop me and Cheryl got out of the car. I opened the door for her which made me earn a smile from her and started to walk into pop's it was literally empty we sat in a booth facing each other pop's came and took our order.

it was quiet so I decided to be the one who speaks first " by the way, there were some tears on your cheeks when you entered the bathroom was that also her?" I asked hoping I wouldn't get some blunt answer " Yeah but I'm ok and thank you for standing up for me at the bathroom nobody would've stood up for me except my brother Jason you really did have to"
she said with a smile which made me smile too.

" hey you don't have to thank me and like I said before there is nothing wrong with that and like I wanted to say before that class rudely interrupted us" she giggled a lit which made me also giggle " Anyways I'm openly bisexual so I don't judge" I said which made her look kinda relieved but then a look of worry came across her face " ah tony can you not tell people that I'm a lesbian please?" she said with a worried look on her " of course I won't and if there is anything you want to talk about I'm right here and you don't have to  if you don't want but it may help to tell me what happen but again you don't have to" I said with a sad smile she looked at me then the restaurant which was filled with a couple of people I assume they came while we had our conversion.

I looked back at her " no it's ok I think it may help too but can we have it some were earls soon the break will start and a lot of students in our school will come her." yeah sure wanna go to sweetwater river?" she just nodded her head, " I'm just gonna go to the bathroom really quick" "ok" Cheryl stood up and went to the bathroom while that I paid for our order.

when Cheryl came back I stood up " let's go" " I still need to pay," Cheryl said reaching into her bad " don't worry already done" " you really didn't have to, " Cheryl said as we began to walk out " Yes I did it's still my apologies for kicking you in the face" I responded with caroused her to laugh " Yeah sorry about that" I said as I scratch my neck putting the other one in my pants pocket " it's OK I forgot about it. It doesn't hurt anymore let's go" we got in her car and then we went to sweet water the whole ride was karaoke in the car Cheryl had a smile the whole ride a real smile not her fake one it was beyond beautiful we finally parked at sweetwater river  and we walked out and sat on a fallen down tree trunk "So ..." I said as we both were as comfortable as possible " how does Lisa know you like girl?" she looked at the river " it all started when we were younger teens believe it or not Lisa was the nicest person I know i  even had a crush on her i didn't want to ruin our  so i didn't tell her but one day I had the balls to tell her so I invited her to my house like I always to we then kept walking to the in my back garden until we were out of my partners sight because my parents already hate me for some reason. anyways we kept walking till we could see sweetwater river then we began talking well not we it was just her and me staring at her lips like I always do. I was looking at her lips I couldn't hold it anymore so I just went for it and kissed her and it felt right I never felt like it before when i kissed the other boys but then she pulled back and I was going to tell her how right that felt but then she started yelling at me then she went back to tell parent and I begged her not to and my mother abused ever since calling me loveless deviant my brother used to be the only one to stand up for me for years till i met heather my first true love till one day my mother caught us in the same bed she even chased heather and her family out of riverdale after that my brother was the only one that defended me till he died" cheryl said as a couple tears falling from her  "and yeah ever since she has been threatening me of telling the whole school about that and that why I don't have a lot of say on her and you were the first one to stand up for me ever jason died thank you " she said as she wiped.

I put my hand on hers that was on her knee " there is nothing for you thank me..." I said as looked at her right in the eye "... and you need to know that your mom and Lisa are wrong your not loveless you not deviant okay ... you're sensational "
