Iron Dad Spider Son

Announcement

"PETER!! TIME TO GO!" Tony shouts from the hallway.

"UHHH OKAY YEAH HOLD ON!" Peter shouts back from his room. In a few seconds, Peter comes running through the hallway in his Iron spider suit.

"What do you even do in there?" Tony asks.

"Hey, I'm still only 16. I've got lots of things to do." Peter answered bouncing up and down in excitement.

"Let's go we're late the rest of the guys are already there." Tony said as he went in the elevator.

"So... What exactly is this Tony?" Peter asked.

There was still yet for Peter to call Tony dad.

"Well, I'm gonna announce spiderman as an Avenger officially and there's gonna be a Q&A." Tony answered, slightly hurt from 'Tony'.

"Cool! Is there gonna be food? I'm kinda hungry." Peter replied.

"Your always hungry." Tony added.

"I was bitten by a radioactive spider. You can't blame me." Peter said.

"Okay I'll give you that, but no, there won't be food at this particular event." Tony responded.

"Aw." Peter sighed in disappointment.

"Your late." Steve greeted in his suit when he saw Peter and Tony slip backstage.

"Well I'm here now." Tony replied. He pressed his watch and and iron man suit formed around

"Tony your on ." Nat walked over in her suit and pushed Tony to the stage.

"Hey! I was-- Hello everyone and welcome!" Tony said in his iron man celebrity voice as the audience clapped and cheered.

When the clapping and cheering stopped, Tony continued. "Many of you know me as Iron man." Tony said gesturing to the suit. "I am also," the suit retracted," Tony Stark." The audience cheered again.

"Does he always have to be this dramatic?" Clint asks Nat, both watching Tony.

"I think we both know the answer to that." She said.

"-- now you might be wondering why I held this event. What is the big news?" Tony continued in his Tony Stark celebrity voice. "Well I am here to announce a new addition to our Avengers group. Spiderman."

"That's you, go." Bruce pushed Peter through the wings.

Peter's mask came back on as he walked on stage.

"Uh... hi... I'm P-Spiderman." Peter waves, stepping next to Tony. The audience cheered and people were shouting. Lots of camera flashes and questions were asked.

"Now, we will be hosting a Q&A with a few other Avengers, or the ones that live in the area." Tony said when everyone quieted down.

The superheros walked on stage waving. The audience got loud again. Clint, Nat, Bruce, Steve, Tony, and Peter took their seats in that order.

Hands were in the air waiting for them to be called.

"You." Tony pointed to a interviewer in a red dress.

"Spiderman, how did you become an Avenger?" She asked. Peter blinked.

"Well, when we were trying to stop the Blip Tony's choices were very limited so I was one of his only options. I guess he grew a liking for me because I stuck around." Peter explained. Tony smiled at him.

"You."

"Spiderman, you dissapeared for almost 2 months, what happened?" A man asked.

"I... I kinda just needed a break.... I'm might be strong and sticky but I'm still human, everyone needs a break sometime." Peter answered.

"You"

"This one if for Professor Bruce and The Black Widow, are you guys together?" And interviewer asked

There was an akward silence.

"Yes." Natasha smiled, grabbing Bruce's hand. Bruce gave Natasha a look. They were not officially together so this news shocked Bruce too.

"Green shirt and jeans in the back."

"This one is for everybody, what would happen if you guys broke apart or something bad happened?"

There was another silence. Everyone remembered how the group almost did die.

Bruce remembered when he came back on a ship on another planet with Thor, and snapping to bring back half the world.

Nat remembered losing Bruce, almost dying, and the painful 5 years when she had nothing.

Clint remembered letting go of Nats hand, loosing hope on everything, and when he decided to go on a killing spree.

Steve remembered when Stark was lost in space, when he watched Bucky turn to dust, then watching Tony almost die as everyone lost hope.

Tony remembered Peter when he turned to dust
'Mr. Stark, I don't feel so good.'
'I don't wanna go'
'I'm sorry'
Then words rang in his head. Then he rembered looking into the empty void of space. The days without Pepper or Morgan. He remembered when he saw Peter for the first time is 5 years. When he realized the only way to save the world would be sacrificing himself. When he saw everyone had lost hope.

Steve remembered telling everyone it's going to be okay, that they would move on. Comforting everyone. But no one ever comforted him. He remembered always trying to look on the bright side. Always being optimistic.

And Peter... Peter almost started crying. But he held back the tears. He remembered how scared he was went he left the bus. He just wanted to help Mr. Stark. He remembered every inch of him fading to dust. And how much it hurt when every piece of him got put together. Running into the biggest battle of his life. When he looked at Tony's arc reactor stop glowing. The days without sleep he spent by his side on the hospital bed. Everyday praying he would wake up. One day, it did.

"Well. To be completely truthful, it's hard, you kind of have to be strong constantly. Emotionally and physically" Steve spoke up."

"But, it does have its perks." Tony added.

"How about.... white hat blue dress." Clint called.

"What role will spiderman be playing on the team?"

"Oh definitely the constantly hungry one that gets us in trouble." Tony laughed.

"What did I do?!" Peter whined.

"That was the last question everyone thanks for coming--" Tony started. Peter's senses acted up and Peter tapped Tony on the arm "What?" Tony whisper yelled to Peter. 

"Somethings not right. Let's wrap this up quickly" Peter said.

"Okay, I'm almost done, go backstage with the others" Tony instructed and went back to talking to the audience.

Peter walked off stage and slid off his mask then  started pacing.

"Hey Peter, what's wrong?" Nat asks, stopping Peter.

"Something is really off and I just can't shake the feeling." Peter told her.

"Okay, Tony is almost done, let's just wait a few minutes." Nat calmed him down.

"Okay. Yeah. Okay." Peter nodded and sat down playing with his mask.

"I'm sorry I have to check this out see you at the tower." Peter quickly said and jumped out the window.

"Peter wait--" Clint called after him.

"Alright, everyone has left, so what's wrong Peter?" Tony asked walking into the room.

"He-- he just jumped out the window..." Bruce explained
