Kakashi's Pov

"Wow, you really know how to cook, (y/n)."

I continued to eat my miso soup as (y/n)'s back touched mine, our height difference was noticeably different. She is about 7 inches shorter than me.

She said that it was just out of respect that she doesn't look at my face while I ate. She's awfully respectful.

"You can turn around know."

She turned and gave me a light smile, "I own my own restaurant up until my late teenage years. Obito probably told you that."

I nodded, "Well, he definitely told me.", I said, remembering how Obito annoyed me back then.

"Have you ever been to the leaf village?", I asked

She shook her head, "No. Ever since I was a little girl, I've constantly asked my grandmother to take me to the lead village, but I never got the chance because she had this "rivalry" with Lady Tsunade. Even when I was older I remember my grandmother catching me every time I left the gates of the village."

She sighed in sadness.

"What's the matter?"

Her eyes started to get watery, "I did something wrong, my grandmother hates me now. Hell, she probably wants me dead."

"I'm sure it will be fine."

"I broke the law, Kakashi. But I did it for someone important."

I placed her soft hand in between mine, "Those who break the rules are scum, that's true. But those who abandon their friends are worst than scum. Obito told me that on the mission he passed away on."

Before things could get sentimental, there was a knock at the door.

(y/n) got up and looked through the blinds and then at me, "Weird guy, bowl cut, bushy brows, green jumpsuit. He's with 2 other people."

"You can open it, I know them."

She carefully opened the door and was met with Gai's loud yelling.

"HELLO YOUTHFUL WOMAN! I'M LOOKING FOR A YOUTHFUL MAN THE HAS SILVER HAIR AND WEARS A MASK!"

She giggled, "He's right over here."

Gai started hugging me, which was quite embarrassing, "MY ETERNAL RIVAL, OH HOW I MISSED YOU! I PROMISE I WILL LISTEN TO YOU NEXT TIME!"

"Um, Gai...I'm wounded."

"Thank you so much for taking care of Kakashi.", the girl said.

"No problem, you guys should hurry."

"You should really visit the Leaf Village, (y/n).", said the silver-haired Hatake.

"We'll see. But make sure you don't make any sharp movements, we wouldn't want your wounds to open up!"

"I hope we meet again.", he said as his comrades looked at him weirdly.

"Goodbye."
