It broke my heart
Slowly, part by part
My world fell apart
Just like stolen works of art
You left me in pieces
You left me all shattered
I lost myself
Unable to be gathered
Once you were right here
Next to me
& in a blink of an eye
You are nowhere to be seen
I did everhthing it takes
But ended up making mistakes
You ignored me in every way
& I fell harder for you every single day
Can't you hear my voice?
Or feel my heart race?
I longed for you
Since you left a blank space
I keep waiting
Hoping against hope
Only to realise
That you were long gone
Never to be back again
You were never mine
I was just insane
When I saw you with her
I couldn't take that pain
I watched you
The way you looked at her
With all my hopes damaged
Amidst struggled breath
I felt my heart ache
My insides burnt with fear & rage
But I couldn't bring myself to hate
I'm willing to endure this endless wait
I know love is not a facile victory
'cause love is known to be intricate
I always loved you
& I always will
You will always find me
Waiting down that hill...
