Days had passed since Zoe had seen Billy and she felt torn. She knew she wanted to be with him, but she was scared that he would leave her again. Zoe felt like it was her against Zilly, a name that her friends had came up with for Zoe and Billy.

Zoe wanted to listen to her friends advice, but she also wanted to just jump straight back into it with Billy.

Zoe stared up at the ceiling. She had her music pumping as her father wasn't home, he had his first shift back today and for the first time in a while Zoe would be alone during the night.

She contemplated calling Billy and asking him to stay the night, but Zoe decided that maybe it was best to just leave him be. She needed time to process everything happening and get back into her regular schedule of no longer needing to take care of Robert and having Robert back at work.

Zoe jumped up off of her bed and turned on her music. It was late out and she decided that it was a good time to go to sleep. She double checked that the entire house was locked and crashed in her bed. She fell asleep almost seconds after hitting her pillow.

"Zoe you can't keep avoiding him," Courtney said as the pair hid behind a large plant in the mall. "He's going to come up to you one day or another and start asking questions," Courtney said, shaking her head as Zoe peered out from the plant to find where Billy was.

"He went into that shop, quick let's run," Zoe said, grabbing Courtney's hand and dashing as far away from the shop Billy had entered as she could.

"C'mon Zoe! Just talk to the poor guy," Courtney shook her head as she panted for her breathe. "Don't leave him hanging any longer... he loves you!" Courtney smiled.

Zoe shook her head. "I can't see him, not just yet... I just... I need to be completely ready again," Zoe shrugged.

Courtney sighed with a nod. "I get it, I was kind of the same with Brandon... I didn't want him to cheat on me... but I was also getting fed up with him not breaking up with Lilly," Courtney explained. "I can see both sides of this situation, I felt what it feels like to be Billy and to be you," Courtney shrugged.

"Enough about Billy, I think about him enough when i'm alone," Zoe began with a chuckle. "Let's do some shopping and buy new Winter clothes!" Zoe chuckled.

Courtney smiled and together they walked into the closest shop and began to pick out cute clothes that they loved.

"I need to get a job," Courtney said.

"You're parents are loaded, Court, you don't need shit," Zoe smiled.

Courtney shrugged. "I know, but I wanna be able to make my own money so when my dad's new gambling addiction finally takes all of our money I can actually survive," Courtney explained.

"Oh shit, your dad is still gambling? I thought it was a 1 time thing?" Zoe said, rather shocked.

"We all did, until it became a 2 time thing and then a 3 time thing and I think you get the rest," Courtney shrugged. "Oh well, for my parents it's as if money grows on trees. My mom isn't even concerned about it, she doesn't care at all!" Courtney exclaimed.

"It'll be okay, you could easily get a job here, like every shop is hiring," Zoe smiled, patting her friend on the back.

Billy watched from a distance as the girl he loved laughed away with her best friend. He wanted to go up to her, but he knew she needed time to think and he didn't want to ruin anything. So he kept his distance and smiled when she laughed, her face lit up his whole world. Billy would wait forever just to be with her again.
