WELCOME WAGON

Zoe was so happy to be home, and while her time in Ukraine was incredible as usual, she missed her friends a whole lot and couldn't wait to see them.

The first thing Zoe did when she got home was ring Billy. She missed him the most, he was after all her best friend and they didn't have any contact while she was away for 3 weeks.

Billy answered the phone almost immediately. "Holy shit, Zoe. You're home?" He said. His familiar voice brought a smile to Zoe's face, she missed hearing him talk.

"Yeah, just got home. I thought i'd ring you before anyone else... I missed you so much Billy," Zoe said, smiling.

"I missed you too," Billy said. There was muffled talking in the background, followed by Billy mumbling back a quick okay to the person.

"Who are you with?" Zoe asked, getting excited thinking that it was the gang.

"Just at home, don't worry about it," Billy said.

"Can we meet up?" Zoe asked.

"Yeah, of course," Billy said. "When?" he asked.

"Today. Whatever time is good for you, at the ice cream shop, but don't invite the others I want some alone time with you first," Zoe said. "Not in a dirty way."

Billy chuckled. "I think we should invite the others. We can't let the girls know that i'm the favourite, they'll get mad," Billy said. Zoe scoffed. "C'mon, Zoe. Their just as excited to see you as me."

"Fine," Zoe whined, disappointed that she didn't get to have alone time with Billy beforehand. "Also, I thought about what you said before I left," Zoe smiled. Billy was silent for a few seconds.

"Alright, I have to go but i'll tell everyone a time. See you soon," Billy said. The both of them said their goodbyes and hung up.

A few hours later Zoe arrived at the ice cream joint, Katherine, Lindsey and Jesse were already seated at the table. Billy was late, as usual. Katherine was the first to see Zoe and she grinned, jumping up from her seat and rushing over to the girl, throwing herself into her.

Zoe stumbled back, hugging her back. "Holy crap, Kat. You almost made me fall over," Zoe chuckled.

"Good! I missed you," Katherine sighed, hugging her tighter. Zoe thought that she was going to burst.

"Hey, get the hell off of her, it's my turn," Lindsey said, pushing Katherine off of Zoe and giving her a hug. Zoe had missed her girl friends. "I also missed you, Zoe," Lindsey said, letting go of her.

Jesse pushes both Lindsey and Katherine out of the way. "Hmm... no dramatic hair changes, your style is the exact same and— oh, are those a new pair of doc martens?" Jesse said.

Zoe chuckled. "Yes, they are. Shiny this time, not matte, do you like them?" Zoe asked.

"I love them, their much nicer than the worn out ones you had before," Jesse said.

"They're so cute, Zoe," Katherine said. "Can we sit down now though? My legs are hurting." Everyone chuckled as they walked towards the table.

"Billy is late as usual," Jesse said as they all slipped into the booth. "I hope Bitch Face isn't coming," Jesse said.

Zoe furrowed her eyebrows. "You spoke too soon, Jesse," Lindsey sighed, glancing over her shoulder. The three teenagers groaned, apart from Zoe who was too excited to even pay attention to them.

Zoe stood up right as Billy walked into the store, but only seconds later in walked a beautiful blonde girl. Even worse, she was holding Billy's hand.

"Who the fuck is that?"

"Shit."
