After an entire month of fooling around with Billy, Zoe finally had figured her feelings out. She had a fat crush on the blond haired teenager and she didn't hate it one bit.
Zoe wasn't emotionally ready for another relationship though and she knew that Billy didn't do girlfriends, he had confirmed that to her a few days ago. Zoe didn't mind though, she liked things the way there were. No strings attached but still caring about the other person's body and making sure everything feels good.
Zoe was shocked, Billy had been better to her than Brandon had, and Billy isn't her boyfriend, Billy is the heartthrob. Speaking of Brandon, Zoe was no longer crying herself to sleep, she was healing slowly and she was happy about it. Brandon was hardly ever on Zoe's mind anymore.
Robert on the other hand, wasn't doing any better. He wasn't healing as quickly as Zoe was, but Zoe was there for him every step of the way. She was always there to throw away his empty beer cans and place a blanket over him when he feel asleep on the couch. Zoe knew how he was feeling, and she hoped he wouldn't feel this way for much longer.
As of right now, Zoe was seated on the couch next to her dad. The two were watching a movie and sharing a bowl of popcorn. The two of them didn't have a worry in the world, Robert didn't have work the next day and Zoe didn't have school or any homework that needed to be finish. Everything was good.
"I think we should get a dog," Zoe said, glancing at her father.
Robert scoffed. "I'm hardly home to take care of it and if you're not at school, you're out with your friends. A dog is a bad idea," Robert said.
"Okay... A cat then!" Zoe chuckled. Robert shot her a glare, he was allergic to cats. "I'm kidding!" Zoe said, shaking her head with a smile. Robert gave her a small smile in return.
Zoe missed nights like this, hanging out with her dad, watching movies and laughing together. They hardly ever got to sit down and chat anymore considering Robert got more night than day shifts.
The remainder of the movie was watched in silence, a few laughs here and there and the sound of chewing was all that could be heard. When the credits rolled, Zoe glanced over at her dad, who was seconds away from falling asleep.
She stood up and turned the tv off, sighing once she heard his snores. Zoe grabbed a blanket from the end of the couch and threw it over him. She headed to to her room and climbed into bed, she stared at the ceiling and had no luck with sleeping.
Zoe wasn't tired at all and sleeping wasn't working. She jumped out of her bed and threw on a pair of tracksuit pants and a yellow jumper, she slipped into her doc martens, grabbed her car keys and opened up her window.
Zoe couldn't leave from the front or back door as it would wake her dad up, he's not a heavy sleeper and when the doors opened it made a slight creaking sound as well as an echoing throughout the house.
Zoe ran down to her car, it was freezing outside. Zoe would always go for drives when Donna and Robert would stay up late watching horror movies. Zoe hates horror movies, she didn't even like being in the house when they were playing, so she left for a few hours usually with Brandon or Courtney, sometimes even both.
Zoe knew that Courtney was with Ben and she didn't really feel like putting up with him for a few hours, so she decided to head over to her favourite place ever, Billy's house.
Billy had told Zoe multiple times to stop showing up at his house due to his dad and his step-family, mainly his dad though. Billy didn't know what his dad would do if he found a girl in his room and he didn't plan on finding our anytime soon, which is why Zoe only came to his house when Billy knew he would be home alone for hours. Their usual was quickies in the car, Zoe didn't know how to introduce Billy to her father yet, so she didn't.
Zoe arrived at his home, parking her car across the road and quickly running over to his house. She ran around the back and to his window, she could see his light shining thorough his curtains, which didn't surprise her. Billy was always up late.
Zoe gently knocked on the class, being careful not to wake anyone. She knew that his step-sisters room was right next to Billy's. Zoe watched as the curtains were pulled back, Billy looked concerned until his saw Zoe's face. He sighed, opening the window.
"What did I say about coming here when my dad is home?" Billy said, helping her climb in. "If it wasn't freezing outside I would of made you stay out there," Billy said.
Zoe scoffed. "We both know that's not true," Zoe replied, winking at him. Billy rolled his eyes, he knew she was right. Zoe headed over to his bedroom door, locking it. "Look, now no one can get in," Zoe said, walking over to him and standing in between his legs.
Billy chuckled as she caressed his cheeks. "I missed you," Billy said.
Zoe smiled, "I missed you too." Zoe bent down and placed a gentle kiss on his lips.
"What are you doing here anyway?" Billy asked.
Zoe sighed, laying down on the bed. Billy laid next to her. "I couldn't sleep, figured i'd stop by and see how you were," Zoe shrugged. Billy glanced at her, giving her a smile.
If Billy was being honest he had never cared this much for a girl, other than his mother, before. Zoe was the only girl that he had really ever gave a damn about, especially when it came to making her feel good. Sure he liked to make sure every girl he was with felt good, but he made sure Zoe felt extra good.
"Hug me," Zoe said, glaring over her shoulder at the boy.
Billy glanced at her, he chuckled and rolled into his side, throwing an arm over her body and pulling her closer to him.
