Adora was at a party,that she didn't agree on going with her friends glimmer,bow,and a bunch of their friends were their so they kinda left adora out of the loop there since well she used to be apart of this school group known as the horde so no one trusted her,and it didn't help that she was the star student of school but most people thought she was little miss perfect.But what people didn't know was that she was adopted!.By a family friend Mara who's health was declining and so was adoras mental state! But again people didn't know this since she kept calm at school and when she hung out with her friends..So during the party she had spotted one of her old friends catra...adora didn't know that catra was gonna be here so adora had mostly kept her distance while drinking a bit of the spiked punch,her mistake.because next thing she knew she was half drunk and was approaching catra to go say hi and to try and clear stuff up that sober adora wouldn't do or didn't have the mental capacity to so.And catra noticing adora was half drunk had dragged her to the bathroom basically berating the star pupil for getting drunk and adora had yelled that she wanted to patch things up with catra in which words were said,Which resulted in catra refusing to patch things up with adora by saying that little miss grayskull has done a great job by being the perfect student that she had left her real friends behind and that theirs clearly to say to a Now perfect loser who betrayed her family and is living with a health declining moron.Now This was what set adora off as adora had felt a tear stream down her face as catra backed up exiting the room and slamming the bathroom door leaving a half drunk nearly crying adora as she quickly locked herself inside the bathroom and had went to look at herself in the mirror as adora was trying to keep it together while softly starting to sing you guessed it Michael in the bathroom. "I am hanging in the bathroom at the "biggest" party of the fall...I could stay right here or disappear and nobody would even notice at all..." and adora had gazed at the bathroom door where catra formally stood by as she went on now softly glaring at the door "I'm a creeper in a bathroom cause my buddies kinda left me alone"
And adora had then went on to her phone scrolling through her social media noticing pictures of glimmer and bow with their friends at the same party as comments went on asking where adora was as adora then turned her phone off and went back to staring at the mirror as a flash occurred and she was standing next to a happy looking catra before the illusion faded "but I'd rather fake pee than stand awkwardly and pretend to check a text on my phone Everything felt fine when I was half of a pair and through no fault of mine there's no other half there" and adora had hugged herself sniffling softly while singing "Now I'm just Adora in the bathroom
