Jungkook's POV
After getting home that day, I jumped on my bed with tear stains on my cheeks. I thought back to our memories and laughs. I didn't want to forget him, but I guess I had too. If that's what Jimin wants, then that's what he'll get.
That morning I awoke to my alarm screaming at me.
"Ugh, shut the fuck up!" I yelled at my alarm clock then I proceeded to chuck it at my door.
"Language!" My mom scolded me. I never did mention my mother did I? She's an old bat, but she can be helpful sometimes.
"Mom? I'm in deep shit." I frowned and looked at my feet. She relaxed and sat on my bed.
"What's wrong?" She asked while putting a hand on my knee. I took one deep breath and started to ramble on.
"Well, that's a lot. Why didn't you tell me in the first place?" My mom rubbed my back and I felt at home.
"I don't know. I really messed up, but I love him." I told her the truth.
"First of all, I am disappointed in you for betting like that. Matter of fact, betting at all! However, I think there's a chance. You just need to give him time!" She finished up.
"Thanks mom, you are very helpful." I said.
5 hours later
"Hey look at this! It's a can of spray paint. Let's see what we can do with this!" They mocked. I had been in my secret spot to paint, but some guys were in there. They were seniors on the football team. Yoongi mentioned to some guys that I was gay, and hell broke loose.
"Please leave me alone!" I pleaded. Moments later I could feel a harsh smack across my cheek. They kicked me in the stomach, cheek, and back. I couldn't deal with it anymore, so I brought out the old me and jumped up. They looked at me like I was crazy and dropped the can in their hands.
"What now you afraid? What's wrong you think your top notch now?" I questioned. Ten seconds later I didn't care, so I ran at them. Through the hallway in some classrooms, and outside in the garden area.
"Stop!" The football players finally pleaded. When we entered back into the school, there were some officers in the doorway. I didn't look up, so I ran straight into one.
"Aw fuck." My head throbbed. Except, for some reason I laughed. I chuckled like the joker and smiled like the cheshire cat while they took my hands behind my back.
Throughout this whole situation, I felt alive again. Suddenly, my face dropped completely and my heart stopped because right before me was the reason I stopped being this way. Park Jimin was breaking through the crowd in front of me. When we met gazes, I knew he was disappointed in me. Everybody was talking and chuckling, some were giggling. Except, he was silent. He held his book in his hands and just stood there.
"Jeon Jungkook, you were doing so good. What happened?" The officer holding me asked.
"I don't know, just didn't feel right being a goodie!" I smirked again, but my gaze was still on Jimin.
"Well, I'll let you off with a warning because I am not going to deal with you again, but we are still going to take you to the office!" He told me.
"Go right ahead." I confirmed. He nudged me to start walking. Sweat dripped off my face and the crowd broke up so there was a path. I growled and they gasped. I don't know what got into me, but I was back and better than ever.
"Why?" Was heard in my right ear. When I looked over it was Jimin. He whispered in my ear "why?". My face changed into a sorry.
"Wait!" He screamed at the officers.
"Park Jimin what is it?" They asked tired.
"Just thought I'd hand this back!" He walked up to me... grabbed my finger... and shoved the promise ring I gave him on it.
"Jimin?" I squeaked.
"What?" He cried.
"I'm sorry." I choked out.
"When pigs fly!" He said before walking out with his books.
Jimin's POV
I can't believe Jungkook "bad boy' is back. I rolled my eyes as I tried to bust through the crowd. I could hear people mumbling "Awe Jimin is Jungkook's weakness", "Awe the gay couple". I turned around and dead stared at the person who said that.
"Were not anymore, so shut the fuck up!" I raged. After that incident I ran into the bathroom.
Jimin get your mind together. That isn't the Jungkook you know! Don't worry, everything will be fine. When he tried to grab his backpack, his scissors fell out. He slow mo watched it as the scissors fell onto his hand.
"Ahh! Shit!" I screamed in pain. Blood dripped out immediately and fell into the sink. I washed it into the drain, and then ran out into the cleared hallway.
To my luck someone I didn't want to see was in the hallway too.
"Hi." He mumbled.
"P-Please g-go away! I am busy!" I yelled at Jungkook.
"What the hell happened?" He rushed over to my hand, and I hid it away behind my back. The blood started to ride up my wrist.
"Nothing. I just have a little paper cut. You wouldn't care anyways." I carelessly pointed out.
"Like I wouldn't care. Jimin I still love you." That hit me really hard. It was like a boulder just landed on me. Blood started to flow the other way onto the floor.
"Jimin! Come on I'll take you to the infirmary." Jungkook insisted.
"F-fine." I gave up because some part of me still believed we had something. I just didn't want to admit it.
A short walk to the infirmary felt like a day. It was awkward. We got there and the girl there helped right away. I got it all wrapped up and was on my way when Jungkook caught my other wrist.
"Jimin, today that was not me! I promise you, I just got beat up and was trying to get them to stop." He explained.
"If that was just to get them to stop, you wouldn't have laughed like some psycho. I have to Jungkook. Let me go." I politely asked him.
"I can't let you go though." He kept talking while holding my hand.
"Jungkook, I can't forgive you! I need time." I told him while trying to wiggle my hand out of his grasp.
"I'll wait however long you need. I just want to hold you again." Jungkook let go and walked out.
How much longer was I going to be able to hold myself back from grabbing his waist and shoving his lips back on mine. Somewhere inside of me missed our playful bickering.
