Barking laughter could be heard.
"When he is older, we will have no need for him, Marius. No worry."
Glasses clanked as one of the speakers grabbed them off the tray.
"What of Subject One, Marius? How do you think she will respond?"
"Time will tell, Augustus, time will tell."
