Backstage ~ Kim Taehyung (High School)

You had to take at least one extra-curricular at your school and due to your high disliking of sports you chose to act. You didn't get a lead role but really you were okay with that. You don't need the spotlight. Not to mention you could sit backstage with another minor role guy. You found him really cute and you fell for his voice. You don't see him much around school. Just theater practice. The first few practices you ignored each other and focused on learning your lines.

Then you two began to know your lines. He would sit against the wall. You on the steps for the actors. You then would begin to bring snacks. You shared with everyone sitting by you. Then you realized he was sitting beside the wall. You got up and went and sat beside him.

"Want some?" You ask. You had a bag of chips and magically your stage director didn't find out. Taehyung didn't say anything but reached into the bag taking a small handful. You set the bag beside him. You have a scene he doesn't.

"Protect these from the vultures okay?" You ask before hurrying to be on stage in time. The rest of the drama students were literally drama. They were all snobs and whatever.

You finish your scene and come back. Your chip bag laying empty.

"Sorry. They were good. I kept snacking," The boy says looking up at you guilty. You giggle a bit.

"That's okay," You comment sitting back beside him. He gives you a small smile.

"So... You like acting?" He asks.

"Director can be a bitch and make me seriously want to quit but I push through. What about you?" You ask.

"I was told I had to join something and this was best. I'm Taehyung," Taehyung comments. You both laugh a tiny bit. Then he gets up.

"(Y/N)" you say back looking up smiling.

"Well (Y/N). There might be some cookies in my bag. Feel free to check," he says before going to walk onstage. He ate your chips. Why not? You look into his bag and immediately find them. Tae comes back and you two talk a bit. Then you bid each other farewell. Every now and then you pass him and his buddies in the hallway. He'll give you a big smile then you can hear his friends bug him about a crush. You proceed to blush and keep walking.

This goes on for a few weeks. You'd talk backstage, smile in the halls, and never see each other otherwise.

It's the final practice before performance night. You sit beside Tae and rest your head on his shoulder. That had become your default position.

"Tae. We never talk outside practice...This is the final practice," you mumble. You feel him grab your hand beside you. You glance at your hands then up at Tae. He leans forward and presses his lips against yours. All the girls backstage let out a squeal. You and Tae pull back blushing.

"Would you want to...get a snack with me after practice?" Taehyung asks. You say then have to get up to be on stage. Maybe it started backstage, but it's not going to end with the performance.
