"And we went bowling and he bought me a cute little stuffed pig. It was kinda fun actually." Gina said with a lovesick smile on her face. I smiled back "I'm happy you're happy." I replied. "He's actually really sweet when he isn't being an idiot." She adds as she packed the last of her bags. We were getting ready to go to the coast for spring break and I was currently at her house laying on her bed playing with Captain Rainbow, That's what she named her giant unicorn. "I'm sure he is." I said stroking captain rainbow's mane. She zipped up her last suitcase and shot me a smile "Ready?" She said. I shrug "As ready as I'll ever be." I said with a small smile. She grabbed her belongings and made her way out the door, "Bye mom, I'll be back before spring break is over." She shouted over her shoulder "Alright hun, drive safe." Her mom shouted back from some room in their house.

I popped the trunk and she slung her belongings in the back, "I wish I had a Jeep." I heard her mumble. I got into the car and shot her a confused look, "A Jeep?" I asked, Her Toyota was really pretty. "Yeah, Just for road trips." She said and I laughed, "Oh okay." I said, She started her car and immediately Tongue Tied by Group Love started to blast, loudly. She started singing loudly as she pulled out of the driveway. This is going to be a long ride.

"SPRING BREAK BABY!!" Chris screamed as we pulled into the driveway, Gina facepalmed herself as she parked her car and looked over at me. I raised my brow "Hey, Don't look at me. That's all you." I laugh and she rolled her eyes at me playfully. Chris skipped to her side of the car and opened the door for her. I chuckle and out of the car. I started to get my things when I was interrupted, "Don't. We have people that do that." Chris said. I raised my brow and awkwardly walked into the house. All of Gina's friends were sitting on the couch when I walked in and immediately stopped talking when they saw me.

"Hi." I said with every ounce of confidence I had in me. Which may I add is little to none what so ever. The redhead, Britney scrunched her nose and replied: "Who invited you?" I raised my brow and was about to answer when I was interrupted "I could be asking you the same thing." Ashton's voice rang from behind me. A smile crept up on my face as I turned around and faced him. He was currently shirtless, his colorful body art on full display and his hair was being held back by a headband. "I- Uh ... I didn't know you hang around people like her." She said weakly. "How about you all leave." He said blankly. I flinched, All of us? "But Gina invited us-" He cut her off "I don't care. Leave." He said, His tone now clipped. I bit my bottom lip and started to walk towards the door. I heard a smack and a sigh, "Not you princess. What the hell." He said and I stopped in my tracks, My smile now restored.

"Hi, Ash." I said shyly. I looked over my shoulder snd found Gina's friends gawking at us, or me more so. He wore a boyish grin as he looked down at me "Hi princess." He said with one eyebrow raised. "Why'd you kick them out? They're Gina friends." I mumbled. He gave me a deadpan look "Because I don't like them. Besides Gina won't care." He said, I bit my lip and looked around the house "Another huge house of yours. I feel like you're going to have to make sense of all of this." I said with a small smile "You know, Like tell me your story." I added jokingly. He raised his brow and gave me a questioning look.

He let out a breath, "Alright, Take a seat." He said in all seriousness. I blinked twice in shock "Wait, what?" I asked confused "You want to know how I could afford all of this, I'll tell you, Take a seat." He said, His tone still very serious. I slowly sat down and he stared down at me with his arm crossed over his chest. His face void of any emotion, "I'm a drug lord." He said and I choked on my saliva "What?" I sputtered, My eyes widen as he said that extremely casually as if it was an everyday job. He shrugged "You wanted to know." He said. My eyes were wide when I looked back at him "No, You're joking." I said. He said nothing. He just stared at me. I shook my head.

"I refuse to believe that," I said. He chuckled "Good, cause I'm not." He said, "I was joking." He added and I rolled my eyes "Nearly gave me a heart attack." I mumbled as he laughed "Should've seen the look on your face." He said chuckling, "Very funny." I said sarcastically. He sat down on the chair and pulled me closer to him. "Awe, Cheer up. I'll tell you eventually." He said. "I'm sure you will." I replied.

And then I did something weird, I ... I sniffed him. "Princess?" He said. I hummed in response "Did you just sniff me?" He said with a slight chuckle. I pursed my lips, "Yes." I replied honestly. And boy did he smell good. It's weird how alluring he was to me. His mysterious side only made me like him more, Like I honestly do want to know why he's wired the way he is. And why he gets up and leaves randomly. "You're different, princess." He said. I looked up to find him smiling down at me. I mirrored his smile and open my stupid mouth "Seashell picking sounds splendid." He got up and started to go upstairs "Like I said, Different."
