Mystic Arcade (Part 1)

The Game Machine

The episode starts off in the lair, Mikey was in the middle of teaching Venus how to walk on her hands. "It's all about balance." Mikey Said, pointing his finger in the air. Venus sat criss cross on the floor watching intently as Mikey demonstrated the acrobatic skill. She was a ninja in training and one of the first skills a ninja must have is to be flexible and in shape.

Mikey was able to hold himself up for 10 seconds straight, then front flip back on his feet with ease. "Now you try it." Mikey Said encouragingly. Venus stood up slowly and looked at the ground below her two toed feet. She took a deep breath before leaning over and putting her small hands on the floor and throwing her legs up in the air. She tried her best to focus on keeping her balance and making sure she didn't fall over for the 15th time. And you know, for a moment she was actually holding herself up. "Hey, I'm really doing it!" Venus said happily. Tho, the moment was short lived, the weight of her own body started to make her arms tired and they began to wobble. Her eyes widened in shock. "Oh no" she said as her arms began to give out. It was to much for her and she eventually just let herself fall. "So, this is how I die?" She thought to herself. The world around quickly turned into nothing but a dark empty void. "I've lived a pretty good life I guess, I just wished I could've gone to the surface just one more time...and beat up some evil mutant guy and gain my brother's praise." She finished as she stretched her arm into the darkness, closing her eyes as she waited for death's cold embrace to take her away into the after life. When she did feel arms wrap around her small form, they felt a lot more warmer than she initially thought. She slowly opened her eyes and saw Mikey staring at her with a look of relief on his face. She had a tendency to be over dramatic in certain situations.

"That was close, Vee." Mikey Said, gently placing her back down on her feet. "How did I do?" Venus asked enthusiastically, forgetting the whole "This is how I Die" thing.  "You did great." Mikey Said, rubbing her head affectionately. She blushed lightly and putt her small hand on top of his bigger one. She always liked it when someone rubbed her head, it made her feel special. Their brother sister moment ended when Raph quickly ran into the room, Leo and Donnie behind him. "We need to head out Mikey, Meat Sweats just broke into the Mystic Pizza place and he's tryin to eat the customers." Raph declared loudly. Venus's happy calm expression turned into a sad frown as she looked at Raph. "Alright!" Mikey Said happily, a sly smirk on his face. He stood up and began to walk towards his brothers when he heard a sad sigh from behind him. He turned around to see Venus looking at the ground, twirling her bandana tongues like they were hair.

Mikey hated seeing her like this, she was always sad whenever they had to leave. Most of the time they would be gone for hours and she would have nothing to do except train by herself, and it's not as much fun doing it alone than it is doing it with someone else...anyone else. "We'll be back soon, Vee" Mikey Said, putting his hand back on top of her head. She looked up at him with a sad pout before nodding her head slowly. Mikey grinned at her before joining his brothers, waving at her one last time before closing the sewer plate. Venus let out a small groan before heading towards the arcade, it's where she goes whenever she doesn't feel like training. As she walked into the large room filled with game machines, she began to look for something she could play. "What to play, What to play?" She said, looking at all the games while taping the tip of her chin. She slightly gasped.  "Dance Dance Revolution!" She exclaimed, running towards the game in the center of the room. When she reached it, she quickly jumped on the colorful metal pad and punched the coin slot as hard as she could, instantly turning the game on, it was a little technique Raph taught her. As soon as the game turned on, the music began to play and the dancer quickly started to dance at a slow pace. Venus began to follow her moves, eventually getting faster and faster. Venus's lips formed a sly grin. It had been about 10 minuets since she began, and she was so close to beating Mikey's high score, and it was only a a few seconds before she did. "Vee Wins!" The game declared. "Whoo-hoo!" Venus cheered with glee, throwing her hands in the air. She swiftly yet quickly turned around and pointed her finger in front of her. Her sneaky grin, now a crazy wide smile. "In your face, Mi..." She paused. There was no one there. "...Key..." She said, lowering her arm. Venus's once happy mood turned into that of a sad one. She let out another sad groan before softly jumping off the game pad and onto the sewer floor. She was feeling lonely again, and Venus hates being alone. "Why do they always have to go on missions?" Venus whined. "Letting that Meat Sweats guy eat a few people won't be so bad." She said, kicking the air. She was in a bad mood and the best way to get rid of a bad mood (at least in her case) was to nap. She began to walk out of the arcade, and right when she reached the end, she heard one of the games turn on. She turned around and saw that one of the game machines had turned on all by itself, it's bright screen radiating. It was in the very back of the room and in the darkest corner too. Venus walked towards the game and looked at it intently. It's interior was very colorful. It's sides were light blue, and the controls were old fashioned. "Hmm, I don't remember this game." Venus said, pressing the buttons with her fingers. She accidentally pressed a bright red button and the game screen changed. "Choose your Character!" It said, in the typical deep game voice. It also had the typical game style music in the background, but the music was a bit distorted and sounded a little off tune. But not to much to where it was "suspicious"

The game had four characters that Venus could choose from.

"They look a lot like...my brothers" Venus said in slight disbelief. "Maybe Donnie made a new game and created characters that look exactly like them?" Venus Said, trying to convince herself. She was in the middle of thought when she heard a growling sound, like an animal. She turned towards the screen, nothing was different. She could have sworn that it had came from the game. Maybe it was just her imagination? She decided to see what this game could do and used the controls to choose her characters. She switched to the one that looked like Donnie and pressed his character. "Olletanado" the game said. Then she switched to the one that looked like Leo. "Ordanoel" it Said. Then she switched to Raph. "Leahpar" Then Mikey. "Olegnalehcim" "Weird names" she said to herself. She pressed the green button right next to the red one and right when she did that, the entire game turned off. The music stoped playing, machine sounds were off, and the screen was blank. "What the..." Venus said, pressing all the buttons and looking around the game to see if she messed anything up. But the thing was, there were no wires, no circuits, or plugs. It was just a game machine. "Great game, Donnie" Venus said sarcastically, kicking the game in annoyance. But karma instantly kicked her back and the next thing she knew, she was holding her now bruised foot. "Oww, Oww, Oww!" She yelped, slightly hoping on her other foot. Once the pain subsided, she put her foot down on the ground and glared at the machine and groaned. Just then, a white spark appeared, it looked a little bit like small lightning bolts. It had caught Venus off guard and she backed up a little bit out of fright. More sparks started to appear and the machine started to shake. The screen began to glow and the shaking and sparks only increased. Venus was scared out of her mind. Apart of her wanted to run out of their and hide in her room. But the other half was to scared to move. She just watched, waiting to see what would happen. The game screen glowed brighter and Venus could hear something coming from the machine. It sounded like moaning and groaning, they were deep and didn't sound human in the slightest. She could see someone's or something's hand coming out of the box shaped screen!
