Flushed but Never Forgotten: Part 2

Venus opened her eyes wide and looked at him, what did he want to tell her?"  Mikey grunted and mumbled for a few moment. Even more sweat coming down his face. "We uh....I...uh" Mikey stuttered. "Snitches get stitches." Leo said, holding a metal pan. Ready to hit Mikey's head with it if he told her the truth. "I...I tooted." He said, his eyes looked away in shame. Leo put his pan down. Venus rolled her eyes and headed back to bed. "Time for Beddy Bye, Piebald." She said cheerfully as she headed towards her bedroom. Leo sighed and wiped some sweat from his forehead. "Way to through Vee off the sent." Leo said, putting his arm around his brother. Then he sniffed. "Oh, you weren't joking." He said as he pushed him towards Raph. Raph patted Mikey on his head. "Okay, lets suit up. STAT!" He commanded. Donnie and Leo saluted him while Mikey just stood their looking like a sad sack of guilt.

Then pots, pans, and a few cooking tools fell on top of them. And then they heard bubbles. They all turned around and jumped into possession, making sure Piebald couldn't come from any corner of the room. "She could be be behind us..." Raph started. "Or in front of us, the only thing we know for sure is that she's not right here." But suddenly a fish hook came down and snatched Raph into the air. He didn't even have time to scream. "Agreed, And Mikey. You did the right thing not telling Vee. Cause in the end, a lifetime of guilt we'll be it's own reward." Donnie said, but then he was snatched too. Then Piebald jumped down from the ceiling .Leo chucked at Donnies remark. "Well said, Donnie." "Your not off the hook, Yeeeeet." Piebald said, looking down at the turtles. They screamed and turned around to fight the mutant fish. Their eyes shut tightly. But when they opened them, Piebald wasn't there. The only thing they did see was a bubble creep out from under the rack in the center of the kitchen. It slowly floated over to them, ever so slowly. Mikey and Leo Looked at it come towards them. Waiting for something to happen. When it reached them it just stoped. They got a little closer and it popped. "Boo!" Piebald exclaimed as she lunged at them. They screamed in fear and ran straight out of the kitchen as fast as they could and locked themselves in the turtle tank.

They sat in the tank shaking in terror. "We have to go back for our brothers, or are you going to replace them too." Mikey said. But turns out, Leo was already making their "replacements". "WHEN WILL THE LIES END!!" Mikey exclaimed in disbelief that Leo would go this far with is Liiiie. "I don't lie, I just...change the truth." Leo said. "And you will keep your mouth shut." Leo said grabbing Mikey's pajama shirt. And then they heard another noise. Like something beating on the tank. And then the tank door unlocked. Mikey and Leo day shaking again. This was it, Piebald was going to flush them. They sat and starred at the window. "W-Who's there?" Leo asked. "Donnie? Santa?" He wondered. It was uncomfortably silent in the tank. The two turtles watching in suspense. "Buddy!" They heard from behind them. They screamed out again until Mikey realized it was just Frakenfoot. Mikey quickly pulled him in the tank. "Frakenfoot, there's a mutant goldfish and..." but before Mikey could finish. Piebald pulled him away with her fish hook. The sound of her evil laughter in the background. Mikey went inside his shell, something he did when he was terrified. Leo grabbed him. "Out the Forehatch!" He said, throwing Mikey out the hole on the bottom of the tank. He dived in after him and fell on the hard floor. "Gotcha Confetti Boy!" Piebald cheered as she ripped him into shreds. His paper pieces falling to the floor. "Oh NO!" Leo said with tears in his eyes. Thinking about the horror Frankenfoot must be going through. Mikey rolled away. His head was the only thing out of his shell. And Leo crawled after him. But right when they were about to reach freedom. Piebald caught Mikey with her hook and snatched him away in the blink of an eye. "LEO!" Mikey screamed as he was dragged away into the darkness. "Mikey!" Leo exclaimed. Reaching out for his brother, But it was too late. "Okay..." Leo said "Keep your wits and do what any mature and brave individual would do.." Leo pushed himself out from under the tank and ran away. "And PANIC!!!" Leo said as he smashed through Splinter's door. He was going to tell him what had happened but when he opened his eyes. His blood went cold. There was his sister and father being held up. Splinter looked unconscious and Venus looked utterly terrified. "Dad, Venus." Leo said looking at the two. When Venus saw him she opened her eyes wide. "Leo what did you DO!?"  She asked as tears of fear began to form in her eyes.

"Vee I uh..." Leo stuttered, but before he could say anymore Piebald appeared out nowhere. "The flushing is nye!" She said. Leo looked confused "huh?" He asked. "I mean soon kid, read a book." Piebald said a little bummed out. And then she vanished, only leaving a few bubbles behind. Leo jumped up and started looking around for her. "Oh boy..." he said. He looked out of Splinter's doorway and noticed a trail of bubbles going into the open sewer. "Okay, no time to think this through, my family needs me." He said. Still shaking like a leaf Leo went to go save his family for Piebald. As he followed the bubble trail he began talking to himself as he tiptoed towards the area she was in. "You better watch out Piebald. The saving is nye." He said. "I learned book words." He said happily. But then he heard Piebald's laugh. She had his family tied in a net, right over a fast swirling pool of sewer water. The turtles screamed in fear as Piebald stood over them. Swinging slightly on the rope that kept them from falling. "Once I find the blue fin, it's flushing time." Piebald said as she lowered her hook at the turtles. "Do you know what a scream sounds like underwater?" She teased and then started making...bubbly sounds?

"Okay, I should've thought this through." He said as he pressed his backside to a sticky wall. "Come on, Leo think." He said as he put his hands over his face. And then he removed them. Some of the sticky wall goop had gotten all over his hands. This gave him an idea. "Piebald may have camouflage, but I have pajamaflage." He said while covering the rest of him with the goop.

Piebald jumped down and was going to look for Leo but was stoped by Donnie's words.
"What did we ever do to deserve oh yeah the flushing thing." Donnie said. Remember everything.  Piebald turned around. "You dumb disk slingers flushed me alive and replaced me with an impostor so my own loving mother didn't know I was missing. Who does that? I was lost and alone and some trash wizard tried to eat me. But my flavor was too robust, so I escaped and I was forced to embrace the sewer circle of life and eat things I am not proud of. Now you losers can feel what it's like to be mutants and live in the sewers." She finished looking at them with angry eyes. "That's already our thing." Leo said, jumping down and trying to attack Piebald. "Surprise attack nye!" He said. "What the..." Piebald said and when she realized he was going to kick her she disappeared, making Leo fall and tumble down towards his tied up family. "Now that the whole family's here. It's time for my flushing revenge."  She said, her eyes bloodshot with insanity. "We never meant to flush you, honest." Leo said. "How about we make it up to you with a nice dinner out. Sushi I mean fish and chips er uh Brazeno, why can't I stop suggesting fish!" Leo said frustrated. Piebald loomed over him and struck her hook down. Leo caught it just inches away from his face. "I'm sorry Vee, I was the one who made everyone keep the secret from you." Leo said, looking up at her. When he was finally able to push it away he told Piebald to flush and him and let his family go. Piebald laughed "Let your family go, I love that idea." She took her hook and sliced and seemingly sliced the rope holding up his family. They screamed out as the fell. "I love you guys!" Leo called out. But instead of hitting the gross sewer water. They leaped up and landed in the edge. The net opened and The turtle brothers hugged each other. Grateful that nobody got flushed. But then they heard Splinter and Venus laugh. "And that is why you always tell the truth." He said. Venus chuckled "We got you guys." "Yeah, you should've seen your faces." Piebald added, laughing too. The turtles looked at them and then at each other wondering what the shell just happened. "After a year, I made my way back home only to find a goggly eyed rock living in my fish bowl. Poor form guys." Piebald said. "I was shocked to discover you boys had lied to me and Venus. So, we planned this whole thing to teach you a lesson." Splinter said. I...don't know...how to feel...now.." Mikey said shock. Venus walked up a little. "You know we love you guys, but you only learn lessons when you learn them the hard way. So remember, lying BAD telling the truth GOOD." Then she blew them a kiss.  "Good night" She said as her and Splinter walked away. "Late turds." Piebald jokes, walking away too. The turtles just sat there shocked. 😳
