It had 2 months since Elliot asked me to be his girlfriend and ever since that day I've neve felt more happy
"Hey beautiful" Elliot said to me
"Hi" I said while blushing
"Remember our date tonight, I'll pick you up at 8;00?" He asked
"Okay sounds fun" I said while walked to the bathroom before getting on the bus to go home
After I was done I went to wash my hands then I met someone...
"Hey" some girl said to me
"Hello?" I said
"Elliot's mine so back off or else" she said trying to intimidate me
"Or else what?" I said back
"Do you know who your talking too? I'm Emily Elliot's first love and only love I can have him back by the snap of my fingers, don't test me... leave him alone" she said
"Me and Elliot have been together for two months why is this just now being brought up?" I asked
"honestly if you want the truth I didn't think you guys would last that long, I mean considering he leaves every girl he's ever been with for me so like I said before leave him alone" she said while walking out
As much as I don't care what people think, she really got to me, I knew Elliot had girlfriends before me but he was my first boyfriend maybe I should talk to him about It
As I was walking to my bus
Marissa walks up to me and tells me I need to leave Elliot
"What why? The day we got together you was so excited"I reply
*flashback to marissa and Juliet's messages*
"Hey marissa guess what?"
"What what what?"
"Elliot asked me out"
"Okay you guys have been on a date before what's so special about this one?"
"No no no I mean he asked me out like to be his girlfriend"
"And you said?"
"Of course I said yes, marissa you know how much I like him"
"Aweee this is so perfect!!!!"
*back to present *
"That was before I knew He was a cheater" marissa said
"How do you know he's a cheater" I replied
"Emily told me she's my friend, she's also his ex and she said that he was trying to get back with her" marissa said
"Ever thought maybe she's lying? She stopped me in the bathroom and told me that i need to leave Elliot alone or else" I said
"She's really nice so she was trying to warn you about him, even his best friend dalton said he was cheating, I'm just worried about you" marissa said
"She wasn't being very friendly to me, and you know dalton lies so much" I said
"Trust me they both weren't lying, you gotta believe me" marissa said
I just walked away and got on my bus, eagerly waiting to go home, as I arrived home I immediately started crying
Could Elliot really be cheating on me?
I suddenly remembered mine and Elliot's date tonight at 8:00
I texted Elliot and told him I couldn't make it and then I turned my phone off and decided to not let this sadness overpower me so I used it to write a poem
*juliets poem*
When the sun fades to night
There are a billion stars that are bright
Even if your sad they make you feel loved
You collect yourself and count the stars above
Maybe this place isn't so bad
You make this place your home
And call it the town of sad
Maybe Elliot didn't cheat
As 8:00 rolls around
I hear my mother down stairs calling for me
"Sweetie Elliot is here"
I slowly walk down stairs and my parents let us talk privately
"What's wrong with you? Why couldn't you make our date?" Elliot said
"I can't go on a date with someone who has a girlfriend" I said
"What your my girlfriend beautiful" he said
"Am I? Then who's Emily" I said
"Emily... oh Emily Hurley, shes my ex, why what happened?"he said
"She stopped me in the bathroom and told me to leave her alone or else plus dalton and My best friend marissa both said you cheated and that you were getting back with Emily" I replied
"I'm not I only want you please believe me, your the one I wake up with on my mind and I when I go to sleep your still in my mind, I can't stop thinking about you, I caught feelings really fast for you juliet, I like you a lot, you make me so happy so please don't believe those people please" he begged
"im sorry I believed them.." I told him
"can we go on our date now?" he asked
"of course" I answered
He had a special picnic date planned for us
We sat under the stars for at least 2hours just talking and eating
"i got you a present Juliet," he told ms
"awe really, thank you but you didn't have to get me anything"
"i just wanted to spoil my girl"
As I open up the little red box I pulled out a jar of perfume and the bottle reads
*rose petal rain*
"oh is this your way of saying I stink" I said jokingly
"what no of course not " he said nervously
"im kidding, this is my favorite scent how'd you know?" I asked
"I remembered the way you smelled on our first date, I wanted to get you a present and I thought well she'll love perfume, but I didn't know the name of it" he said
"So how'd you know which on to buy?" I asked
" I described how you smelled that night, you smelled like a fresh awakening in a field full of roses, with hints of vanilla and the gentle smell of rain, then the lady said smell this and I did and it was your perfume" he said
"I love how you remember every detail" I said
"I can't forget anything about you" he said
"Juliet there's something else I need to tell you.." he said
"What is it" I asked eagerly
"I know we haven't been dating long but I'm really starting to really fall for you, it's hard to explain how you make me feel, so I'm just gonna say it.. I love you Juliet" Elliot said to me so calmly
I didn't know what to say I mean of course I loved him too but I was just caught up in the fact that he said it.
Then as moments of awkward silence passed Elliot and I both leaned in for a kiss, as soon as my lips touched his I felt something, something bright and calmly, his lips were so soft and warm, it was the best feeling in the world Elliot was so perfect and the kiss made me forget about the whole Emily thing
maybe he did cheat maybe Emily is lying to marissa
As the night got shorter Elliot took me home
As I got home the whole Emily situation filled my mind
I wanted to believe Elliot but my best friend wouldn't lie to me would she? I was confused
And either way someone betrayed me I just didn't know who...
