Chapter 3

The next morning, Hiei's alarm goes off at 8AM which means he has to get ready for the picnic. He changes into a black t-shirt, his red and black windbreaker, light blue jeans, and red Converse Shoes. He also sported his white headband to cover his Jagan eye so people wouldn't question him for it.

As he slowly sneaks downstairs, the fire demon takes a look at Kaigo who was asleep on the couch with tons of beer cans surrounding him.

'That bastard must have gone partying last night. I swear to god he had better not have hooked up with another woman this week.' Hiei thinks to himself.

Just as he was about to walk out the door, he feels a smack across the back of his head and is knocked against the wall. His Father had woken up and sensed that Hiei was leaving.

"Where the hell do you think you're going?" Kaigo questions him curiously.

"I'm going to spend time with my sister and friends." Hiei says as he is careful not to give away too many details.

Kaigo soon holds up a sharp kitchen knife to his throat and pins his head against the wall.

"You tell anyone about what's happening in this house, I swear to god I will kill you." Kaigo threathens his son.

Hiei nods frantically in response and is soon freed from his Father's grasp.

"Also, don't stay out past 7PM." Kaigo warns him.

Not wanting to waste his Father's time, Hiei went out the front door and begina to run a safe distance away from his home. For once in his life he actually felt safe and hospitality getting away from his Father for the whole day.

After a long train ride from his hometown, Hiei makes his way towards the field and beach area where Yukina and the others were waiting for him. He had to hide what was happening back at home, so he made a promise to himself to keep everything a secret from everyone.

When he arrives Hiei sees that Yusuke, Kuwabara, Kurama, Botan, Keiko, Yukina, and Koenma in teenage form were all here.

"Hey! Look who's just in time!" Yusuke points out with a cheesy smile.

Everyone soon greets Hiei as they get everything set up.

"Hey guys." Hiei waves.

"How's everything been Hiei? Besides not showing up to training?" Koenma asks him.

"Same old stuff. Endless relaxation." Hiei lies while smiling.

"Alright everyone who's ready to-"

As Kuwabara comes back from setting up the volleyball net, he sees his rival standing directly on the other side.

"I know I'm here cause Yukina invited me, but whos idea was it to invite him?" Hiei exclaims in disappointment.

"Can't you go one second without harrsing me?!" Kuwabara yells in annoyance.

"I can, but I don't feel like it. You irk me too much" Hiei tells the psychic.

"Hiei apologize to Kuwabara." Kurama tells his partner.

"What?! But he's just-" Hiei begins to exclaim.

"Now." Kurama interrupts him.

Hiei sighs in annoyance and goes up to Kuwabara cringing in the process.

"Kuwabara. I'm sorry for being disrespectful to you. Will you forgive me?" Hiei apologizes.

"I forgive you. Let's shake on it." Kuwabara says as he holds out his hand.
