Chapter 41

Adam drove into my driveway and honked like he used to when I walked up to the car he was standing there waiting to open the door for me. When he opened it there was a teddy bear and flowers on the passenger seat.
M- awwwww adammmm
Adam- for a queen:)
M- and you even got roses
Adam- I know their your favorite cuz of your grandpa
M- thank you Adam
Adam- your welcome:)
(That's actually true my grandpa passed away but he grew roses and he was literally my best friend so roses are my favorite flower now:))
I got in the car and put the teddy bear on my lap and the roses in the backseat.

M- where are we going
Adam- it's a surprise
M- ughhhh

He put a blindfold on me when we got close to the stop I guess then we got out of the car. I heard familiar music in the background.
M- Adam you didn't
He took off the blindfold and I jumped up and down, this is the place we had our first date I loved going here ever since I was a little kid, it was a little movie theatre that was old fashion themed. I've always been an old soul they played old music and had old fashion things. It always made me so happy going in there. It even had a little arcade where you could get tickets from the games and cash them in for little Knick knacks.
Adam- we're watching toy story 4 then we're gonna get ice cream and food from here then do the arcade, if that good with you
M- THAT SOUNDS AMAZING
I jumped into his arms which shocked him but he hugged back tightly. Then I had flashbacks.

*flashback* duh*
Adam and I were playing games together just us in the arcade room. (Picture me jumping up and down in like slo mo cuz it's gonna be aesthetic yk) it was the night of my 15th birthday and I couldn't be happier. We won lots of tickets and got ice cream together and sat outside on these little benches watching the stars with his arm wrapped around me. He was so warm and his temperature worked so well with his soft hoodie wrapped around me and the chilly spring night. He's always been so warm. He makes me so happy. Madi? Madi? "
*flashbacks over:)*
Adam- Madi?!
I snapped out of it I must have zoned out at one point
M- huh
Adam- haha your so cute
I blushed
I didn't like him just the memories came back quickly and I miss those times. I'm happy now too but then I was a different kind of happy. I made my mind up and I do like someone a lot and I want to date them and I want it to last. I'm pretty sure of it too.

We walked inside and Adam got our tickets

It just looks really nice and stuff and I REALLY wanna go when I'm older so just pretend this is what the place looks like(and the benches are where they are sitting in the flashback))

Then we walked into the movie theatre and picked our seats. Halfway through the movie his hand grabbed my thigh. I didn't do anything until he started to move up and I pushed his hand off my leg. I missed him and I love him but I want to and need to move on and I know who I'm moving onto so.
The movie was good(I haven't seen it yet in real life so don't spoil it💀) afterwards we went into the arcade area and played my all time favorite game where you drop the ball and whatever number it lands in is the amount of tickets you get. I got a LOT of tickets and we cashed them in for free ice cream only cuz the owners knew us by then. That place brings back so many memories it's crazy to think I used to go there once a week with my boyfriend I thought I would spend the rest of my life with. And now, we'll I'm known on TikTok and have lots of fans but I have all these new friends and even a few boys who are kind of interested in me. I might even start dating one soon. Life is crazy.

After that we sat outside and watched the stars like we used to. After a few hours of just hanging out and talking he drove me back to Sanaas house. I ranted to her for a good hour about how much I miss the old times but I'm happy how life is now too. I did miss Adam a lot but I've moved on, and I can't help but feel a little bad.

After ranting we just chilled out until we both fell asleep.
