I paced by the computer in the Batcave. A room over Percy was lying unconscious on a table.
Cass was tossing a knife up and down uneasily. Dick sat at the computer with his head in his hands.
And Bruce was nowhere to be found.
Alfred, Leslie, and Tim were inside trying to help Percy.
"Nectar and Ambrosia" I facepalmed "im so stupid!"
I sprinted up the stairs to my room and stopped dead in my tracks when I saw the door slightly open.
Had Shiva come back?
I opened the door careful to find everything inside trashed. Someone had been here and they were looking for something. I didn't have time to check though. I found my Ziploc back of Ambrosia and the canteen of nectar I had on my dresser.
I grabbed both and ran back down the stairs.
I barged into the room where Percy lay on the table.
"What are you..." Tim saw what was in my hand "I'm so stupid"
"You're not the only one" I said taking a square out of the Ziploc bag while Tim trickled a little nectar into his mouth.
Slowly but surely the nectar began to work it's magic. Soon he was breathing normal and as Leslie watched on in amazement I fed him bits of Ambrosia until finally he coughed and his eyes fluttered open.
"Back where we started" he mumbled
I hit his shoulder "you scared me! Don't ever to that again!"
"Ouch" he grumbled rubbing his shoulder "what even happened?"
"You must've got cut by something that had Joker toxin on it. Luckily the dose wasn't enough to kill you."
"Actually the dose should've been more than enough to kill him" Leslie stepped forward "the joker toxin is lethal at .8 grams. By the looks of it Percy endured more 2 grams. No easy feat."
"Well my parentage does help" Percy mumbled
"What?" Leslie asked
"Nothing" Percy answered quickly
I barely heard him as I walked out into the cave.
"Is he okay?" Cass asked
"Yeah" I mumbled walking past her quickly
"Are you?" She asked following me
"I'm fine" I said walking towards the stairs but she cut me off.
"No. Somethings wrong" she said stepping in front of me
"Cass nothing is wrong" I said pushing past her
"Annabeth something-"
I turned on her "you contacted Shiva! You made a deal with her! A deal that in a couple months is going to get you killed"
Cass stepped backwards slightly "who told you-"
"Cass you're going to get killed. I don't care how good you think you are. Or how good you actually are! This is Lady freaking Shiva we're talking about she'll kill you!" I shouted "and it's even worse you didn't tell me! You didn't tell Barbara! You didn't tell any of us!"
"You dont understand!" She said "i-"
"I know you're going to start about loosing your ability to read people before they act" I said "but don't because guess what? Not all of us have that and we get along just fine!"
"Annabeth she-"
I took a breath and quieter said "Cass I can't loose you. I know you think you can beat her or get out of it somehow. You can't and you're going to die. Then what?"
She looked at me for a second. I shook my head, muttered a Greek curse, and walked up the stairs.

Tim was the one that came and found me. I didn't want to stay in the manor so I left, walking. Eventually I found my way to the library and I sat inside watching the snow fall slowly.
I sat thinking about what Shiva had told me, and about what my dad had said earlier that day.
"Hey" Tim sat down at the table next to me
"Hi" I said
"I saw you leave" he said "what happened?"
"Is Percy gonna be okay?" I asked
"He'll be fine" Tim answered "what's wrong?"
I looked at him he'd grown up a lot the past months. He had grown at least an inch and now he was about an inch shorter than me. He had gotten stronger and that was evident. But what struck me the most was his quick thinking. And it hurts to say this. But he was a better thinker than I was at his age.
That was when I went on my first quest. Back right after I met Percy and in doing so changing my life.
"Just..." I paused "don't worry about it. Im just worried about Cass"
"Why?"
"She got into something she shouldn't have." I answered "she'll be fine though I won't let anything happen to her."
"What kind of something?" He asked
"It was-"
"Paladin we have a armed robbery about a mile from your location" Bruce said into my ear piece.
I sighed "I'll take care of it only send backup if I call"
"Good luck" Tim called as I ran out the door
I crossed my hands and sprinted for the bank.
The street was quiet due to the weather and time and inside the bank were only four men armed. And a teller. Two with hand guns. Two with rifles. I shook my head a little. Both the handguns and rifles were .22 caliber. If they could hit me it would only kill me if I were close enough or if I was shot in the head. Which I didn't intend to get shot in the first place. I knew what it felt like. Trust me it doesn't feel good.
"So are you gonna drop those guns or will I have to take them?" I asked
The first man fired but I flicked a disk at him and clenched my fist. His gun clattered to the ground.
"Okay here's a fair warning. Drop them or take a trip to the hospital." The other three men looked at each other. I sighed and threw a batarang at one hitting the gun into the air and a disk at another.
The last man holding his gun fired at me. Luckily be had terrible aim.
"Duck" I said pointing above him.
He flinched and I threw a smoke bomb as he did. "Oh my bad"
I crept around them and as the smoke cleared I knocked the first man out.
"Are you three gonna leave yet?" I asked as I knocked another to the ground. "Or am I gonna have to kick you out?"
I proceeded to kick another knocking him out.
I heard police sirens in the distance.
"Oh that's my que" I said "this has been fun. Let's do it again sometime. But a word of advice: Next time you rob a bank, Don't do it in Gotham"
