Chapter 5

Astrid's POV

I moved around, rubbing my eyes. I can't believe it's morning already. The last thing I saw last night was me sleeping on the couch laying my head on Hiccup's shoulder.

I opened my eyes and saw him, looking at me. I couldn't resist to look back at him because there's something telling me to do so.

"Morning Astrid.. Sleep well?" He asked.

I nodded in response. "I guess so.." Duh. Of course I did. Are you kidding me? I just slept in my boyfriend's arms with him hugging me tight just to keep me warm. How adorable.

"Great." He smiled, still wrapping his arms around me. I feel like having my uncle back when he's here. I feel like.. I'm home..

"What time are your parents coming back?" I asked.

He shrugged. "I might have to go now though.."

"Don't leave.." I pouted.

"Why not? I have to feed Toothless.." He glance at his dog who's playing tug of war with Stormfly. He look back at me.

"Don't leave.. Please.." I said, still pouting.

He sighed. "Astrid please.. Stop pouting.."

I keep on pouting.

"Astrid.. Stop it seriously.." He chuckled.

"Fine.. But don't leave.." I begged.

He smirked. "Why don't you come with me?" He said, packing up his stuffs.

"Well.. If it's fine for you, I'll go.." I said.

"It'll be fine, Astrid.. It'll be fine.." He said and smile.

Hiccup's POV

I asked her to come over so she won't be lonely and she said she would. But there's just one problem. I opened the door of my house and saw my dad standing in front of me, staring at me like a tiger who's ready to strike.

"Dad.. Eh.. Hi.." I gulped. That awkward moment though..

Astrid was right behind me when she saw my dad. She looked pretty surprised but she managed to calm herself down.

"Hi, sir.." She said, waving her hand and smiled.

My dad didn't see her at first but then he glanced at her. I can say he couldn't resist to see her because she was terribly beautiful.

"Hello there, Astrid.." He smiled. "Why don't you get in and grab some cookies I brought while I was away.. You know.. Consider that as a souvenir.." He chuckled.

"Well.. Eh.. Thanks.." She said as my dad let her in. So, she went in with Toothless and Stormfly following behind her.

I look at her from the door but my dad closed it. He pull my arm and lead me inside the car. "Where have you been?" He asked.

"Eh.. At her house.. You know, I thought you'll be back at midnight.." I said.

"We did.. Yesterday midnight.." He sighed. "Your mom was worried like hell and I literally have no idea where were you.."

"Dad, I'm never been far away.." I glance at the window. "Why did you bring me here? I mean.. We can talk in the living room instead of inside the car.."

"Well, I think it's time for you to have a father-and-son talk." He nudged my shoulder. "So.. What did you do at her house?"

"Just a movie night.." I sighed. "She's really in a bad mood, dad.. Her uncle ended up in the hospital because of an accident that happened last week. That's why I accompany her.."

"That's terrible.. Does she have a ride to go there?" He asked.

I shook my head in reply.

"Well.. Why don't you go drive her tonight?"

"Okay.." I nodded.

"You can drive, right?" He chuckled.

"Dad, I'm 17.." I glared at him.

"Good. Drive safe.. Make sure she's safe too.. And you, get her home on time and don't do something stupid.." He pointed to me.

"Dad.. I won't.." I groaned.

"I'm proud of you, son.." He smiled as he get out of the car.

I sighed. "Thanks.." I mumbled.

Sorry for not updating daily. I've been really busy lately becoz it's almost my final exam. So, no worries tho.. I'll be updating every weekends.. Probably.. I hope so..

Chapter 5 here.. Hop chu like it.. It's quite boring for me tho but nevermind.. xD
