*Hey its just the beginning. Its not really interesting. Its basically an introduction on Neil. Next chapter Camellia will be included to a greater extent.*
Chapter 1
Camellia danced along the rhythm of the loud music. She was just moving. Her mind neither registered the songs which were being played nor did she feel anything from the dance, no excitement, no happiness, no fatigue, no joy, nothing. Just numbness. A feeling, if it can be called this way, she accepted long time back; she preferred this to the deep agonizing pain in her chest.
Camellia has found a way to deal with the death of her soul mate- denial. She refuses to accept it, she refuses to analyze her emotions, it aches too much. Her life has lost its meaning, she has no goal, nothing ; she has lost the essence of life.
Long time back she has found that alcohol helps to hide the pain, she has found that after several shots she feels numb and that's why every night she frequents the bars, filling her body with alcohol, trying to imitate happy people by dancing, shouting and partying. She acts like she has no care in the world which in a sense is true. That's what her life has been reduced at, nothing.
Neil walked in the club, scanning the area. He deemed that it was an okay club, with satisfying music, good liquor and tons of sexy babes. The hungry looks that the female population of the club was giving him didn't go unnoticed. But it did nothing to him. He was used to this reaction, after all he was what many considered dashing with black hair, pale grey eyes and an angular face. His body was well shaped and muscled to the right proportion. His tall figure towered over many. His sexy posture had many women drooling after him. He had a good package -looks, money, brain and power.
The women in the club were sexy, appealing but he was not really interested in them. These days, he had grown tired of the easy women who would do anything for him. He was up to a challenge.
He walked to the bar where he found a sexy red head sitting on the stool sipping what seemed like martini. She was wearing an expensive looking sparkling golden dress which was short enough to reveal more than half her thighs and a pair of long slim legs. She was enough of a challenge to him since she made no acknowledgement of his presence and continued to look forward. She took out a phone and started texting.
Shelly had noticed the sexy hunk next to her the moment he had entered the club. She was bored out of her mind in this club and was looking for some action.. She was in a mood for some teasing tonight. She would play hard to get. Most men couldn't resist her charm and that guy would be a good catch.
"Hey sexy. " Neil whispered to her in a husky voice. His hand reached her thigh. Shelly smiled. She removed his hand from her and asked him in an uninterested voice what he wanted. It was Neil' s time to smile. It was game time.
"How about I offer you a drink and you return the favor by dancing with me? "He confidently asked.
"How about I buy myself a drink and you look for someone else to dance with you? " She replied in the same tone.
She is good. Will be really feisty in bed. He thought.
" Feisty huh? I like that."
"Good for you. Now excuse me. " she got down the stool and moved to the dance floor, sweeping her hips provocatively.
Shelly glanced at the bar while dancing closely with a stranger. Neil was leaning on the bar, sipping a glass of beer. He had a sexy smirk and Shelly felt aroused. God, she was tired of her game and wanted nothing but him. He was that sexy.
Neil waited for some time before joining her on the dance floor. Her actions told him that her resistance was crumbling. He could read the desperation in her eyes.
He touched her hips and moved along with the music. He placed his other hand on her belly and pulled her closer to him. She smelled good. " What do you say if we take this somewhere else huh? "
She nodded and started dragging him out of the dance floor. In that moment Neil was astounded by a unique beauty moving her sexy body on the dance floor. She was not gorgeous, but there something appealing about her. Her dark hair was loose, covering part of her face as she was bouncing. She was not in party wear like the other women in the club; her attire comprised of faded jeans and a white t-shirt which seemed to be smudged with paint?
She was carefree, not an ounce of worry about other people's opinion. Neil couldn't see her face well but something about her attracted him. He was about to approach her when a hand started pulling him. He looked at the redhead beside him and suddenly grew angry at her.
He was no longer attracted to her. His new motive, prey was that girl. He wanted her, wanted to get to know her and this girl whom he didn't even know the name was stopping him.
"Look, I don' t think I'm interested in you anymore." With that he left a shocked, aroused Shelly standing speechless for once in her life.
" Dammit! " Neil cried in frustration. He left sight of the girl for a brief moment just to talk to that redhead and she just disappears. Neil searched the dance floor for her but she was nowhere.
At the end of the night, Neil was intrigued and womanless and damn his luck, no woman could arouse him. He wanted that girl and once he set his mind on something he always achieve it.
