"Hmm, I was under the impression that most humans had cars,"Caitlin wandered out loud.

"Uhh, yea, well most humans can't afford their own house, let alone a car."

"But you have a job. How do you make it to work?"

"I manage just fine, put these legs to good use."
Caitlin just stared at her surroundings, to Barry it wasn't much to see but to Caitlin it was literally a whole new world. It had surprisingly changed since the last time she had been here, humans were a lot harder to read then Genie were. Her kind only had one set mindset.

And that was to expand their population.

"But where are my manners, my name is-."

"Bartholomew Henry Allen...son of Nora and Henry Allen. You work for CCPD as a forensic scientist. And you live with your adoptive father Joe West and his daughter Iris."

"Whoa, whoa how do you know all this stuff?,"Barry asked in bewilderment.

"I'm your Genie it's my job to get to know everything about my human,"she stated like it was obvious.

"You know, most people don't call others human. Just Barry is fine,"he smiled.

"Barry...Barry, Barry,"she repeated.

Barry arched a brow and she stopped,"I like that name."

"Thanks,"he cheekbones flushed, "You know, Caitlin isn't such a bad name either."

"Thank you my mother gave it to me,"she replied. Barry held in his laugh but still smiled,"I'm sure."

"Something funny Barry."

"Oh, I'm sorry, it's just not everyday where someone gets a Genie."

"Well, I think you and I both know that you're no ordinary human Barry."

Barry stuttered in his movement, watching after Caitlin as she jogged ahead. Becoming too excited of her surroundings to be paying attention about the little things.

He wandered what else she knew about him.

"What do you mean by that?"

Before she could answer a guy sprinted from the alleyway tugging Caitlin under his arm in which she yelped in surprise as the cold metal hit her temple.

Barry rushed over to the scene,"Hey man...you don't have to do this."

"Shut up and give me all you got,"he yelled.

"Come on man I don't have anything."

"Give me all you have or the girl gets it,"as the words left the mans mouth Barry's gaze flickered to Caitlin. She wasn't looking at him instead behind him. Her expression was worried but Barry just thought it was because she was being held at gunpoint.

The longer he took to respond the more the man grew agitated. The gun was pointed on him in no time and Caitlin gasped. Just as the man pulled the trigger Barry saw Caitlin's eyes light up.

"Caitlin no!,"Barry commanded.

A strange force of power hit him from forwards and backwards, shoving him directly into a street pole.

"Barry? Barry wake up we gotta get out of here," a female voice was calling out to him.

He felt like he was underwater. And damn his head, was throbbing. "Barry we gotta go,"flashes of blue and red were flickering on Caitlin's pale face. He groaned as his hearing started to clear and sirens blared in his head.

He allowed Caitlin to help him up though he stared wide eyed at the body on the ground. "Caitlin,"he wheezed. "Don't worry about it right now Barry we have to go."

Barry's body started to sag. "Oh no you don't come on Barry."

He tried his hardest to hold it together but blacked out before Caitlin could say another word.
