LISA POV
++++

I sit at the coffee shop's smallest table for two. I shift uncomfortably in my seat, waiting for Jisoo to arrive. I had asked her to come join me for this place's pastries. Supposedly they're the "best in LA". I try to have a positive attitude about it, though, cause that's me, Lisa, the ray of sunshine.

As I hear the door's bells jingle, I could hear her hurried footsteps, her face unreadable.

"Hey, Jisoo- uhh what's that..?"

She looks around cluelessly and then at her outfit, pulling it by the waist and such. "What? Is there something on my outfit?" She says, her cheeks tinted. I shake my head and chuckle. "No, silly, in your hand~!" I point at the weird shaped parcel she's carrying. A look of relief covers her face before she murmurs. "Oh yeah! This...!" She hands the strange item to me. "Happy birthday, Lisa~!" She does little jazz hands as her hands are free from the quite hefty package. I thank her but realize it isn't my birthday. I look at the ceiling, my mind wandering. "Wait today's the fourteenth, so it isn't my birthday..." I whisper before looking back at her. Her cheeks were all puffy as if holding in laughter.

"Haha! I got you! No, it's just a small gift from me." She says, her voice smooth and sweet like honey. "Thank you~!" I say once more before ripping open the parcel. She takes off her coat, her sweet perfume lingering in the air as she sits down across from me.

I open the package only to reveal a familiar book. I look up at her, shaking. The memories were to excruciatingly painful to think about. Her eyes light up as I look at her, my lip quivering.

"Surprise!" She exclaims. "Remember when you would write in this when you were small? I remember when you would write sitting under the shade of a tree, your hair flowing with the breeze. Your fingers clenched around the pen either furiously or weakly. I remember quite vividly that your eyes would flicker this way and that, before reaching mine—" she stops abruptly, my face feels like it's burning. She remembered so much about me, it almost feels—

I clutch the book before grabbing my own coat and walking swiftly towards the door. "Wait! W-What's  wrong? Lisa!" She stammers before I slam the shop door, making me unable to hear the sound of her pleads any longer. I can feel small, stinging tears threatening to fall from my eyes.

"D-Don't cry, Lisa, y-y-you have to smile." I say to myself, choking on my own sobs as I walk to my apartment.
