"Dean this...makes me....very happy." Castiel whispered in thesame soft, worshiping tone when he first tried a burger.

"The pie?" He asked half teasing and half serious.

"The others were good but this..."

"Looks like we found your favorite Cas?" Dean asked with a smirkand Castiel nodded.

"Yes this is...amazing." He took a deep breath of the tartfilling and buttery crust, "what is it?"

"Cherry." Dean frowned then thinking back, racking his brain, hadhe really not had Castiel try cherry pie yet? It was a classic! Notas good as apple pie, which was his very favorite but cherry was agood second.

"I like cherry. I like cherry very much."

"He's my cherry pie~" Gabriel started singing gently pulling Sam,who was still finishing up the last of his side salad, Buddy waslaying at Sam's feet waiting for scraps that the tall man would notgive him. Despite all of them being nice to the dog; they all lovedhim and he loved his people back, but Sam was by far his favorite. Itwas only Sam who he'd come running to greet when he saw him again, even if Sam had only been gone for five minutes to the bathroom, andwould follow him around whenever he could.

"Cool drink of water, such a sweet surprise," Dean sang back.

"Taste so good, make a grown man cry." Gabriel sang back beforethe two reached over to high five. Sam was chuckling a bit whileCastiel, while he didn't get the reference or the song the only thinghe really understanding that Dean was singing and he had so rarelyheard his mate sing and he loved it.

"I want to try this amazing cherry pie." Gabriel chuckledstanding, "you want something Samshine?" He asked happily and Samtwisted his lips, while he wasn't really one for sweets often he didlike something sweet every now and then, and he did miss his olderbrother's pies. Even if Dean never was able to bake them since beforea few months ago, Dean was scraping by when they were children, he'dhave to shoplift food a lot of times. There was no way Dean could geteverything needed and even if he could most hotels had either just amicrowave or less or shitty oven that couldn't really bake well. However what was part of his childhood, especially when he wasyounger, is the nice words Dean would weave for him as they ate thosetiny single serve pies, that one day they'd have good pies. And thetwo or three times with Bobby that Dean could by all the gods; theywere delicious.

"Uh...why not you get an extra big piece and we can share?" Heasked and Gabriel's eyes widened and sparkled like Sam had offeredhim the world.

"Will do Sammy!" He smiled leaning down to kiss Sam's forehead. It was still kind of strange to hear the name 'Sammy' and it notcoming from his brother's voice. He didn't mind Castiel and certainlyGabriel calling him it but it would take a long time to get used to.

When Sam took a bite his eyes closed and he smiled, "this tastesjust like the cherry pie you made when I was ten!" Sam grinned,"how did you do that?" He asked and Dean chuckled.

"My go to fruit pie crust, a little bit of sugar, cornstarch andalmond extract mixed with the cherries-seventy five percent sweetcherries with the twenty five percent a tart cherries so it won't gettoo sweet-and the dough laid out and brushed with butter beforebaking till crispy golden crust and tender insides." Dean shrugged,"not that hard."
