Souryuu's eyes snapped awake as her alarm began to go off. Groaning somewhat, the Carrier turned it off almost immediately as it had started going on. Not only for Hiryuu's sake, but the rest of the Japanese dorms. The building was sturdy, but the walls left a little to be desired in terms of sound proofing. And not wanting the rest of the Japanese fleet on her for not shutting an alarm off when she should.

Rising from bed, she stretched a moment before tossing her blankets to the side, swinging her legs over the side as she immediately stood, going about getting dressed. In all of her commotion, she failed to take note of the fact that Hiryuu was slowly sitting up, the orange carrier reaching over and flipping a light on, illuminating their room.

Souryuu nearly jumped.

"Heh." Hiryuu chuckled. Souryuu scowled.

"Go back to bed." Souryuu said, going back to getting dressed as quickly as she could. "You've still got time to catch some sleep." She said. "And it really shouldn't be any sort of question as to where I'm going. So you really don't need to be concerned about that regard. And you know that." The Carrier said. Hiryuu shook her head.

"We may not be actual sisters, Souryuu. But we're about as close as that gets." She said. "Which means when you're concerned, I'm concerned. I'm not the one dating Missouri, you are. And by default, that means I'm worried about her too." She said as she swung her legs over the side of her bed, following Souryuu's example. Souryuu paused somewhat, looking to her sister.

"You know you don't have to do that." She offered. Hiryuu shrugged.

"You've been stuck with me for eighty years now." Hiryuu chuckled as she sat on her bed a moment, offering her sister a smile. "That ain't about to change now." She said. "Even if you do end up running off into the sunset with an American battleship." She laughed. Souryuu rolled her eyes at that as she continued to get dressed.

"Well if you're sure then." Souryuu offered. Hiryuu nodded at that as she slowly stood, stretching her arms somewhat.

"I've gotta ask though. Isn't checking on Missouri kind of telling about your relationship with her? I mean, the way you ran out of the Mess Hall the other day was slamming enough in my opinion. And now? Going out before the base is up and moving specifically to check up on her? Don't ya think people are gonna get suspicious about it all?" She asked.

Souryuu offered a nod.

"Mhm, more than likely." She said. "But if it comes down to keeping our relationship secret and making sure she's okay, that's not really a contest in the end." She told her. Hiryuu nodded at that somewhat as she chuckled.

"That's a winning answer if I've ever heard one. But aren't you still a little worried? I mean.. what were you worried about again?" She asked as she herself began to go about getting dressed. Souryuu paused a moment at that before sighing.

"I'm worried about the fact that I'm a carrier and she's a battleship." She said. Hiryuu nodded at that.

"At the time, I can agree, being the first would've been odd. But now, with whatever Saratoga and Prinz Eugen are, pretty sure the fear of a multi type pairing is kind of sold at this point." She said. "And trust me. If Saratoga, being the way she is can find someone that actually cares for her?" Hiryuu paused, letting her point sink in. "Then you of all people can openly be lovey dovey with Missouri. And that's not even mentioning whatever Admiral Johnson and Maryland are doing behind closed doors." She reasoned. Souryuu gave pause at that.

"Maryland's just sleeping with her for actual reasons, isn't she?" She asked, somewhat hesitantly. Hiryuu also offered pause at the moment, as if taking a moment to think about how to word her next statement.
